I haven’t had Meetfresh in many years, and my last time was as a kid in China, where it was super popular and my parents always took me for their tasty desserts. I ordered the taro ball max because the picture showed a huge portion with all my favorite toppings. But when I got it, I was a little shocked: the whole bowl was basically shaved ice, with only a small amount of toppings in the corners. It didn’t look like the photo at all, and I think I expected too much lol (oops). The sweet shaved ice plus boba was just way too sweet for me. (It’s my personal opinion, however, if you are a big fan of crumbl then this dessert bowl is not too sweet at all!) I did like how chewy the taro balls were. But if you don’t love shaved ice, you might want to pick something else because this one was so icy it felt like eating a popsicle, haha. I appreciated that they list the calories for each bowl, which is helpful if you’re watching your daily intake. The service was amazing, and the store has a really nice aesthetic. I’ll definitely come back to try other items!!!!!
