We are visiting Magog for a girls weekend at a local spa. We did a local search and Merchant stood out. It’s BYOB which made it perfect since we bring the wines we love to compliment such a wonderful meal! We had the Thai Shrimp, Salmon, burger and fish and chips. They have a very unique seasoning for their meats that is creative and absolutely delicious. Our server was Alicia, she and her boyfriend own the restaurant. She was absolutely wonderful. We will be back. That’s a promise.

The Thai shrimp appetizer was so yummy with crunchy coconut and a nice chili sauce. The salmon was delicious and I loved the cheesy risotto! Alicia was a fantastic, helpful and friendly hostess.

Great service and a good meal. Steak and excellent fries with nice veg. Nothing méchant (the bad kind ;)about the place at all :) Thankfully, the noise level was low--hard to find these days. I would go back any time.
