McKiernan is a homerun, they check all boxes from service, food and decor. The restaurant is one large open space, the service is very attentive and knowledgeable and the food is great. From your choice of family style portions or single serving portions they hit the mark. My son had the pasta and my wife and I shared the rotisserie chicken with a side salad and their Parker rolls. I skipped dessert but my son had their doughnut and my wife had their lemon meringue pie. Definitely going back here, an absolute treat.

This is a perfect place for a large group. Large farm tables, amazing food and fantastic service. Our new go to place when friends visit.

The food was good. The only thing is I thought my ribs were a little dry. Waiting staff is very kind and helpful, the dining room is spacious and looks like an old factory that's been repurposed into a restaurant. It's a lovely spot. I'll be going back to sample more things off their menu.

So in the picture I order: -rigatoni rosee spicy (it’s the pasta, not spicy even they say spicy) REALLY GOOD even im not a fan of pasta -roasted chicken Alexander (they roasted w garlic n butter, they will ask if u want a quarter, half, full chicken. Get quarter bc today I get half it’s too much) - it’s really good but the spice is not as flavour full as the other 2 dish -jagershnitzel ( schnitzel with mushroom cream a side) - A MUST Got a box of 6 donuts (flavours change by day) -tiramisu (A MUST) -lemon -strawberry -raspberry -caramel -( another one but I forgot 😅)

I love a good roast chicken, but often ask myself when having it in a restraunt "could I have made this at home?" The sauce for the chicken at McKiernans is what makes this chicken stand out. It is spectacular. The chicken is cooked excellently but it's the sauce that makes this restraunt roast chicken worth the price. I could/would never pull off the execution of such a sublime sauce, and I love that about it. The brussles are also excellent and the Country salad I could literally eat for every meal. This is so worth the effort of getting to.

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere. The group food menu was ok, nothing special but pretty pricy. Our wait staff was so so, waited a while for drinks ordered and our waiter changed half way threw with no continuity , had reexplain drinks etc. . A dance area would have been nice but all in all good place.

We dined at McKiernan’s this past weekend for a joint bachelor party of 35 (yes, 35!) people and it was a wonderful experience. The name of our waitresses escaping me but she was so lovely, flexible, thoughtful and accommodating, as were the rest of the staff. We felt both comfortably at home and very spoiled at the same time. We did a set menu with the restaurant; the menu was fantastic and the food was delicious and plentiful. Can’t recommend enough, especially if you’re looking to celebrate or dine with a large group!

Food was ok, schnitzel was a 1/10 dry and flavourless, the salad was amazing! Service was good and the overall space and decor was really nice! Wont be back, too many options in montreal to waste your money here, sorry!

Large, open space with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The food is excellent for the price, with generous portions that feel like real value. Nice to see wines starting around $50 a bottle, which is rare these days. A solid spot that delivers quality without the premium markup.

Big spacious restaurant with delicious food. Came here several times for lunch and brunch and the food never disappoints. The parking outside is free during the weekends.
