They ruined my night… I ordered a poutine and the cheese quantity was so little that it ended by the time I was halfway finished eating. I asked the waitress for more cheese & they said it would cost extra money. That frustrated me and I finally decided to leave without finishing my meal :( And their credit card machine wouldn’t work unless I pressed a percentage for tips otherwise I would’ve skipped it!! Very cheap for a high end place like that… At la belle province or Alfa which are both ordinary places, this would’ve never happened!

Irish pubs are the best pubs. Local live music in the evenings. A stellar line of taps with a mix of local brews and imports. The food is good. The service is friendly. The vibe is great.

Service was super fast. The band was great. Just a little bit too loud for some sections but all in all what you’d expect when there is a live band. could have just used maybe a sound tech to adjust levels.

McKibbin’s used to be a go-to spot for us, but our recent visit here was extremely disappointing. ​There was no "wait to be seated" sign at the entrance, and a waiter explicitly waved us in and told us to sit anywhere. We picked a booth, but shortly after, a waitress came over and demanded we move to a two-person table. ​The restaurant was virtually empty—maybe four other tables were occupied in the entire place. What made it worse was her complete lack of customer service. She didn't smile or offer a polite explanation; she just gave us an order and walked away. ​Feeling completely unwelcome, we immediately got up and left. On a block with at least five other competing options, it's a shame the staff treats customers this way. We won't be returning.

This was not our first visit to McKibbin’s Irish Pub Dix 30, but we felt compelled to leave another review following our most recent experience, particularly because of the exceptional service we received. The terrasse is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and surrounded by abundant greenery, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It is clearly a well-maintained space and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal and a drink. As usual, the food was very good and met our expectations. However, what truly distinguished this visit was the quality of the service. We were served by Benoit R., and we can honestly say that this was the best service experience we have ever had at McKibbin’s Irish Pub Dix 30. Benoit was attentive, courteous, friendly, and exceptionally professional throughout our visit. His attention to detail and genuinely welcoming attitude made a very positive impression on us. Excellent service can make a significant difference in the overall dining experience, and Benoit certainly contributed to making our visit an enjoyable one. Thank you, Benoit, for your outstanding service and professionalism. It was very much appreciated.

Great pub! Love the vibe inside! Service was amazing! Food portions were huuuuge so we ended up ordering too much. Food was delicious, loved the quesadillas! We all could have done a better job at reading the description on the menus but also I wish they had nugged us a little on how much food there was gonna be cause I really hate wasting food. But overall, we had a great time!
