I have never written a Google review before, but today I find myself inspired. In this world of chaos and suffering, we must find the small things in life that bring us some joy. Too often, in the past, I have requested extra pickles on my McDouble only to find, to my dismay, one or two pickle slices lying insipidly like lone castaways, marooned on a golden island of American cheese. But not here at the Derby McDonalds. No, my good men and women of this kingdom in the northeast; here, I consistently find myself receiving five (or sometimes even six!) pickle slices blanketing my McDouble in glorious green, like a field of sweet clover in springtime! Haha! I laugh and shake my head, thankful that, despite life’s many struggles, God has mercifully put me here, near this pickle-gracious McDonald’s location. To the employees of the Derby McDonalds, never let anyone tell you that you are anything less than bright, shining stars in a world full of darkness. Keep shining your light, my friends. I see you.
