I recently tried Mazzeh and had their fesenjoon -- it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were really well balanced, with that perfect mix of sweet and tangy that makes the dish so special. The presentation did surprise me a little though, as it didn’t include any pomegranate seeds, which I was expecting. Still, the taste more than made up for it. The place itself is more of a counter-style setup, with just a couple of tables and a few seats at a high counter, so it feels quite small and casual. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for flavorful food in a simple, no-fuss setting.

I don’t usually write long reviews, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment we walked in, everything felt exceptional. The attention to detail, the warm welcome, and the overall vibe immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Let’s talk about the food… absolutely outstanding. Every single dish was prepared to perfection — rich, fresh, and full of authentic Lebanese flavors that honestly took me straight to Beirut. The mezze selection was incredibly generous and beautifully presented, the grilled dishes were juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the desserts were simply heavenly. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. What made it even more special was the service. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy the entire time. They were attentive without being overwhelming, genuinely kind, and always smiling — which made the whole experience feel so personal and welcoming. The atmosphere deserves its own mention — elegant, cozy, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your time, and create beautiful memories with family and friends. This is not just a restaurant, it’s a full experience. Easily one of the best Lebanese dining spots I’ve been to. A well-deserved 5 stars, and I already can’t wait to come back

When we have extra kebab and store it in fridge, the whole fridge gets the grate smell of kebab and makes me crazy. Every time I open the fridge, I just want to go and buy more kebab from Mazzeh!

Mazzeh is hands down one of the best spots in Montreal for authentic Persian takeout. The kabab is incredible—easily the best on the island. I always order the beryani, and it’s impressively close to the authentic version from Esfahan (❤️), Iran. Every dish we’ve tried has been excellent, and it’s a favorite across my whole extended family. The service is friendly and fast. The takeout is beautifully presented—clearly made with premium ingredients and care. Mazzeh also put together individual meals for an elementary school lunchtime fundraiser- again beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

I am not from Montreal, and I was just visiting the city, and wanted to have a good persian Kabab but unlike Toronto it is pretty hard to find a pesian restaurant, until one of my friends recommended Mazzeh, which was the best recommendation in this visit. The food is great, staffs are nice and friendly and the prices are good for the quality. I totally recommend this place especially for all torontorians and all tourists who want to have a high quality and delicious food.

This is the second time I’ve ordered catering from Mazzeh, and once again they absolutely delivered. I ordered for a big crowd, and everyone loved the food. The taste, freshness, and quality were outstanding. The kebabs at Mazzeh are truly some of the best in town — perfectly seasoned, tender, and incredibly fresh. Everything was prepared to perfection. The staff and service were also top-notch, very professional and helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I definitely recommend Mazzeh for catering or dining. If you’re looking for amazing flavor, freshness, and quality, this place will not disappoint.

By the recommendation of my friend, I went to Mazeh, and was my first experience at an Iranian cuisine resto , loved it honestly, those kababs were on top! I gotta check the remaining menu for more meals,everything tasted delicious and quick, didn't disappoint me, will definitely come back for more, I'm obsessed!!! I had an amazing experience at Mazeh Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and you can really tell they put care into every dish. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and checked in at the right moments without being overwhelming. I ordered from this place on Uber Eats and had a very disappointing experience. First, because the street was closed, I had to walk down the whole street to find the driver while he was just sitting calmly in his car far away. I ordered ghormeh sabzi, which normally comes with rice. Instead, I received only a very small bowl of stew with a piece of bread, even though I paid $21. On top of that, the ghormeh sabzi was extremely bitter and didn’t taste good at all. Overall, very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.
