I am a regular customer of Matka Handi Restaurant. Today I am not rating the restaurant for its food rather I am rating the staff and their behaviour. I went today for Dine in. As I have a special needs child who was in a big stroller, I asked to open door from the ramp side. But the staff rudely refused that the door is closed & I have to use the main door to enter. The door has few big steps which were not easy to use with my son’s stroller. I would have appreciated the staff if she would have helped me to bring the stroller rather she ignored in a rude way. I returned from outside and will never go to such place where staff are so rude and negligent to special needs people. I gave 1 star because there was no option to post without giving any star. This behaviour of staff only deserves zero star. I would suggest the owner to look into these things of your staff too.

I had a really great experience at this restaurant. The food was really good no wait time. Staff is really nice and friendly. I went there with my baby and they treated her so well. Loved this place worth trying. I highly recommend this restaurant. ❤️❤️

I had the vegé thali with palak paneer , naan and chana. The taste was very good, delicious. The tandoori tea was a little light, more taste of the milk instead of the tea but it was served hot and the elaichi aroma was good. Service was a bit slow and the ambiance was average. But I liked the painting of a village life...overall a good experience and lunch.

I have been coming to this restaurant for the last one year but what I saw on Saturday was very bad. One of their employees whom I used to see working here came to collect his money but he was treated very badly. The owner called people from all over and they got ready to beat him. He and his wife did not get the money but it came to the point of saving their lives. This was very dirty behavior. I regret that I chose that restaurant whose owner and staff were called goons instead of talking to them. That is why I am not at this place from today onwards. I will not eat food here if I beat up my employees. They can call goons for this and if any mistake is made by the costmers, they can be ready to beat him also. The behavior of the owner and the staff that we saw was very bad.

We stopped in Montreal on route to Ottawa and found this restaurant through Google reviews. It was the best decision to stop here after a tiring day. Amazing taste of pakoras, very well served by the nice lady at the counter, she even obliged us with the kids special food. Must visit. Ambience is okay, clean, as one would expect from a standard regular cost restaurant.
