The moment we enter we had the smell of delicious food. After a long day visiting the city we ended up coming to this place at 10 pm and by 10:15 the food was on our table. Server name Krishna made sure that we are taken care of. He also offered that would you like to get some water to go. We are visiting from USA and this place is must try!!! Love from Boston.

We just visited this restaurant and it was amazing! Soft naan and panner butter masala was oh ho ho.. biriyani was too good. Our waiters Mukhtar and Raman were very polite and helpful.

Mukhtar is amazing at his hospitality and food is amazing too! Really appreciate the effort and love put in making each food prepared, especially the mango lassi yummy!!!!!

We ordered kadai paneer and dal makhani, kadai paneer was delicious, dal makhani had too much garlic. In terms of the service, Raman is extremely hospitable.

Food at Mashakli Restaurant was a must-try, especially the Dal Makhni, which I highly recommend. Everything I ordered was also really good. And the employee named Shana provided excellent service — she was amazing!

Was rightly skeptical on so many reviews with 4.9* as this is really a 3.5☆ with questionable high number of reviews to make it change to have real rating come through. Restaurant is located in lobby of an average hotel and decor reflects as feels like free lobby Continental breakfast place. Food is okay with tikka masala and Naan the stars, butter chicken average... should have tried something less touristy. Service is poor as there CC machine has statements to make you feel like a cheapskate if you dont tip 22%++ despite fairly average to poor service. Curries came out while eating apps and rice followed 10min later. When I put in a 19% tip, waitress made a scoff suggesting terrible tip... WOW!!

Will definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. PLEASE DONT GET SCAMED BY THE REVIEWS AND RATINGS. I recently visited this restaurant based on their great reviews and ratings. To be honest I was completely disappointed with their taste. We tried Masala Chicken lollipop, Gobi Manchurian, Buttery Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan and chicken curry. Everything, literally everything was coated with a thick batter. End of the day, it was too much batter, and throughout I could feel the batter taste. It was such a disappointing experience because ended up having a severe stomach upset and threw up right after I reached my place. It was not just me who went through this experience, I also recommended another friend to come with me to try their food and my friend had the same experience. Just do not understand where is this 5 star review coming from and I do not see a single 1 star or 2 star review which concerns me if they are being removed.

Here’s the updated review mentioning the server Raman: Had a wonderful experience at Maskali Indian Restaurant! The food was delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. Our server Raman was very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the visit. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for great food and amazing hospitality. Will definitely come back again!

Was surprised to find a highly rated Indian restaurant downtown that I didn’t know (lived here most of my life). Surprise, food delivered was bland and dry. Won’t be repeating that mistake.

We got the Chili chicken, Gobi Manchurian and Chai. Everything was incredible and authentically delicious with good portions. Lovely vibe and quick service. Overall, we highly recommend!
