Lots of hype ...lots of positive reviews from others...but today I guess was a bad day at this establishment...my gyro pita(meat)was dry burnt tomatoes were cut in cubes no juice ..the head of the tomatoe ...the part you throw in the trash ..and they serve that .very poor tight cheap . disrespectful.humbs down .. luckly the waiter somewhat save the outing

Been coming to Marvens for many years, it's nice to see the familiar faces of the staff. They have excellent service, very clean place and giant portions. We've been visiting regularly for those delicious calamari, and lambchops, I think it's become our go to for delicious food. The prices are great, and you really have a fantastic atmosphere in there. The service is unmatched. They are always friendly, quick, and attentive. I've never had issues at marvens, feels like going home for a great a meal.

My family and I have been eating at Marven's for about seven to eight years now. Everytime we come to the restaurant I always get nostalgic about all the good times we have had there since I was a young boy. Marven's has always been a place where my family and I can come to enjoy amazing food and share laughs. The service is amazing, as soon as you walk through the doors you instantly get greeted by their amazing servers, not as another paying customer but as a guest in their "home". Server's are always quick on their feet, the food always comes out in perfect intervals so as you finish eating their bread and tzatziki sauce, the salads and appetizers come out and after the main course. (They have it down to a tee). The food is phenomenal, from their delicious greek salad, to their crispy fried calamari, the juicy tender lamb chops, their pitas, chicken skewers and especially their amazingly juicy rib eye steak. I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants but marven's has always been there for my family and I so I had to help them grow and attract more guests in hopes that those guests can build a relationship and memories with this restaurant such as I have.

Food was good and portions are very generous. However, they don’t take reservations and you have to wait in line. While waiting, there’s an unpleasant urine smell coming from the men urinals downstairs. Parking is also difficult, especially on snow removal days. They take cash only. For those reasons, it wouldn’t be my usual go-to Greek restaurant.

Food is excellent, the steak is the best. All Portions are generous. Only downside is that its always packed and you have to wait for a table and in the winter its very cold. You also feel tu have to rush your meal because people are waiting; it’s like a cafeteria but very cozy at the same time and worth it for the delicious food. I would say they should have a pager service that rings when the table is ready for people to wait in their cars or to have a reservation system.

Went there on Sat, Jan-18-2026 I love the food, test is really good. I order Calamari, Beef, Lamp chop and come with Greek Salad and Cesar Salad for 3 pax, we are not finish the plate. The Calami is really good, big portion. appetizer that you will never miss it if you go there. Great Customer service, he is very friendly. First come first serve, so a bit of long wait time. No credit card, Cash only( they have ATM machine In the basement)

Grew up in parc extension , still go to the area often. Really respect what this place represents. One of the first real restaurants I have ever been to; first time back in 2013 and most recently in 2025. Hope this place continues to stand the test of time. Wait time is never long for food or otherwise. Clean. Very very clean and so is staff Polite and professional Traditional food and generous portions Prices are extremely reasonable (I respect the cash only aspect $$$) Can’t wait to go back and definitely recommend ! 💯

Hands down the best Greek food in Montreal. Service is always on point and top Notch. Amazing value and nothing on the menu will leave you disappointed. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. A Montreal staple that lives up to their name and reputation. A must try if you’ve never been. You won’t regret it!!

This is for Marven’s DELIVERY option via either UBER EATS or DOOR DASH!! I order the 2 porc souvlaki skewers with Greek salad, rice and fried potato. 1st the staff are great at getting the order done fast! 2nd the presentation is excellent, u feel like u are getting exactly what u would expect if a restaurant is treating u right when delivering food to u! the salad comes in it’s own container, very nice looking, with a transparent lid allowing u to see the salad which is a nice touch, in a separate container, which again is very nice looking, u have the two pork skewers, fried potato wedges and rice nicely presented! 3rd, the food is delicious, the salad is fresh, large and excellent, lettuce, tomato, black olives, peppers, thinly sliced onion, and comes with a lovely vinaigrette. The 2 pork souvlakis skewers are perfectly cooked and tasty, the rice is perfect, the fries are tasty and also perfectly cooked (Add on a very tasty sauce that comes with it which adds a nice zest to the meal) U get a generous serving of everything. So, quick recap, quick preparation for delivery, excellent presentation, generous portions and delicious food! Highly recommend! The meal also comes with hot bread in aluminum foil.

Its not the first time we go, its always been good, but last visit last week for lunch with family Chicken brochet lambs and calamari all over coocked don't know what happened, but unfortunately did not like our visit.

Great service as always and delicious!! The portions are generous and the Calamari are to a MUST if you go there!! I would also recommend the Entrecôte. We also took Shish Taouk plate as well as the Taziki (with bread just goes well!). Easy Parking around, and not much wait time for 5PM. It does however get busier after ;)
