We stumbled across Marmite du Terroir on a quiet Tuesday evening while passing through Oka, and what a lovely find it was. The market had such a warm, unhurried atmosphere, with local cheeses and preserves arranged beautifully on the shelves. One of the staff members took the time to walk us through the different regional products and even let us sample a few, which we really appreciated. My husband and I left with a basket full of local goodies and are already planning to stop in again on our next trip through the area.
