Best greek food in Montreal, generous portions at a fair price. Atmosphere is nice, cozy and clean. Their plates are under $25 per person. Kids eat at about $15 plate. If you are into diets like restricted carbs or keto, the menu offers you plenty of choices. A must have if you are in greater Montreal area.

Absolutely love marathons! We always go here when we want Greek food! We often take family from out of town here and they love it! We ordered large amounts of their chicken gyro, pita bread and tzatziki here for our wedding anniversary as a build your own gyro station and it was absolutely amazing! Our guests loved it too!

Because Its Canada day, no menu midi. So fête du canada = having no pepsi during lunch lol. Most stupid shit ever. Aside from this stupid nonsense, love the place! One of my favorite.

Not professional at all their girls take the man customer numbers from the pick up side then they text him to ask for a date or if he is single or not thats ridiculous

Best souvlaki pita I’ve had, even better than some that I had in Greece. Some of the items prices like the express deal is very worth it. Please never change the price, it’s the only good, fresh and healthier option that is still affordable to get. I eat from there very often it’s simple and good. I definitely recommend.

I havent been here in at least a decade and decided to order off Ubereats. It seems my favorite classic gyro meat recipe has unfortunately changed and now reminds me of like schwarma (which i love) but did not expect. Not only does it look different, but the taste is exceptionally salty. The portions are still generous and well packed and I would continue to come back

What happened? It was my favorite place to have a Greek gyro. Not this time. The meat was oversalted cardboard and hard to chew. The fries were refried and the salad had no dressing. First time I couldn't finish the plateJust a waist of money.

Food was good, served fast even with a full house. All staff were super nice and accommodating. Only thing is that slippery floor as you walk up the stairs. Could be very dangerous for anyone with limited mobility or the elderly.

Used to come here almost weekly when my family used to live in Laval; since then, we moved and my father passed. Came back today with my mom and the food is just as good today as 20 years ago. We also had wonderfully excellent service by Gregory - he is one of the most attentive and sweet servers I’ve ever had and he helped make mine and my mom’s experience truly lovely. Thank you to everyone at Marathon for being a consistently excellent place to enjoy delicious food! ☺️🙏 03/05/2026 edit: came back again today and had above and beyond excellent service from Savannah. Greg also kindly came around to our table to say hi! 😊 The food, the service and atmosphere (with the hockey game playing in the background- Habs won!) is outstanding! Can’t rave enough about this restaurant 🥰🙏 Thank you Marathon for consistently excellent experiences!!!

Me and my entire family have been coming here for over 20yrs and the reason is quite simple….great service, and great food! Don’t ever change! Extra note thank you for always being welcoming especially to the elderly after having an awful experience at another restaurant!

Take out, I ordered calamari with rice. Rice was going bad, because they're keeping days old rice and serving it to customers. When I called to ask for another plate, they told me it's either 10$ credit for next time I order or nothing. I will not order from this place ever. Be cautious with your take out orders.

Always loved Marathon but recently had and not only was the meat dry, the portion size seems to have gotten smaller as well. Shame because it has been very good in the past…but at these prices these days, not worth the money.

Waitress brought the plate and asked, "Do you want anything else, ketchup? Mayo? Tzatziki?" Yeah sure you can bring me some Tzatziki. And they end up charging you for the sauce. I think not letting the client know that there's an extra charge for the sauce is unethical. I didn't really want the sauce but since the waitress asked along with mayo and ketchup, you really think it is offered for free. I have no issues paying, but LET THE CLIENT KNOW THAT THIS IS AN EXTRA.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentic across all the locations I’ve visited. It’s one of those places you can always count on for a satisfying meal. The prices are also very reasonable—our family of five can enjoy a full meal without feeling like we’ve spent an entire paycheck, which is rare these days. The service is another highlight. The staff is always calm, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. A reliable go-to spot for great food, good value, and a relaxed dining experience.
