The staff was very welcoming and easy to talk to. Both our dishes were very flavourful, the sauce was amazing and the portions were very generous .They also offered a homemade tea. Highly recommend!

The homemade tea served upon our arrival was amazing: its taste a pleasant surprise. All of our food was excellent and very delicious. The food came with home made sauces, which you could taste. The staff was very friendly and explained everything very well.

Happened upon this place while looking for somewhere to have dinner, and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing, and so was the service. It’s a charming little place and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the customer experience from start to finish. We will be coming back!

Astounding. So comfortable. Absolutely delicious food. Everyone is so nice and I can tell that they are a part of the neighborhood. This place feels like an instant classic. I am so happy I stumbled across this space.

My wife and I absolutely loved the food here! The staff, vibe, food quality, generous portions, and overall atmosphere made the experience truly unforgettable. Everything was on point, and we had such a great time. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, you won’t be disappointed!

First time eating here, and it's definitely one of my favorite spots! The restaurant is very cozy, the food is amazing, the portions are generous, not to mention the great server that makes you really feel comfortable and takes care of you. It's rare to find a restaurant in Montreal that does everything right these days. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes! 😁

We’ve visited Maison Jofei twice now, and both experiences have been fantastic. We were blown away by how creative, original, and flavourful the dishes were. The drinks were excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the overall experience was truly memorable. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying more of their dishes!

Hands down one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Montreal. The food at Maison Jofie was so incredible that we broke our usual travel rule and ate here twice during our stay—more than any other spot in the city. On top of the exceptional food, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating with our kids, which made dining out as a family an absolute breeze. Every single dish was full of flavor, the atmosphere was warm, and the team treated us like family. If you're visiting Montreal, put this at the very top of your list.

Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone made us feel so comfortable. You can really tell that the people here care about what they do and about making their guests feel like family. We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back!

Such a lovely dining experience! The restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere, and even the tableware and utensils feel refined and high-quality. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The Hainan chicken rice was especially impressive — very authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

Don't think about it. Go here. This place deserves all the business you can give. We were served complementary ginger apple iced tea and it was so delicious and refreshing. My partner and I had the beef soup and lo fun seafood dish. Just so rich in flavours, unbelievably succulent beef. For the seafood dish, it was creamy and packed with typical Asian flavors (calamansi, fish sauce, red chilli). And they did not skimp out on all types of seafood like shrimp, squid, clams of the like. Service was crazy quick. Then we had the mint chocolate gelato and matcha tiramisu. The tiramisu was subtle but so good and moist. The mint chocolate I took on recommendation of the server and I was not disappointed. It's home made, and to my initial shock but inevitable great pleasure, it actually tasted like mint. The portions are generous and the price so reasonable for these days. I'm absolutely stuffed and before tip it came to $30 each. Everything was so much better than I expected and I will absolutely be coming back.
