A beautiful place, that looks straight out of a Lynch movie. Red velvet, draped red lamps. The perfect place for a date or anything else. The pizza was top-tier quality, took me straight back to Italy. A huge shoutout to our waitress Ivana, who served us with so much elegance! Jazz! Jazz! Jazzy! (P.S. order the tiramisu martini!

We were expecting a complete jazz-night experience, even if the music wasn't live throughout the evening. The establishment was marketed as a jazz venue, which was the main reason we wanted to visit. Since we only wanted drinks and didn't want to dine in the main dining room, the only available reservation was at 11:30PM, which we accepted. When we arrived, no one greeted us, so we initially tried to make our way to the bar. A host eventually seated us at a table that, in my opinion, was poorly positioned, directly in front of the band. We asked if we could sit at the bar instead, which was accommodated. Unfortunately, just two minutes later, the band finished their set. What made this particularly disappointing was that nowhere on the website did we see any indication that the live band's performance would end so early. After the band finished, the music switched to pop, which was completely inconsistent with the jazz atmosphere we had come to experience. Had we known that the live music would end shortly after our arrival and that the atmosphere would change so drastically, we would have reconsidered our reservation. We then ordered two cocktails. Unfortunately, one of them, an extra dirty vodka martini, was much too strong for my liking and lacked the salty, briny olive flavor I expected. The biggest disappointment, however, came when we received the bill: $65 for two cocktails. I found this excessive, especially considering the overall experience and the size of the venue. Upon reviewing the bill, we realized we had also been charged a fee for the band, despite having only been able to enjoy the live music for approximately 10 minutes. Overall, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Between the lack of a proper welcome, the disappointing seating, the cocktail, the abrupt change in musical atmosphere, and especially the additional fee for a performance we barely had the opportunity to enjoy, the experience simply did not feel worth the price. The marketing created expectations that the actual experience did not meet. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this establishment.

Absolutely loved my experience at Magpie Magique! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is intimate, elegant, and just a little mysterious. The décor, dim lighting, beautiful cocktails, and music create such a unique ambiance. The food was delicious, the cocktails were beautifully done, and the whole evening had such a relaxed, romantic feel. It’s one of those places where you don’t feel rushed you actually want to sit back, enjoy your drink, listen to the music, and stay awhile. 🥂🎷 A beautiful spot for a date night, a special evening, or simply a night out when you want something a little different. 5 stars without hesitation I’ll definitely be back! ❤️

I am so disappointed to have paid 32$ for 1 uncut lettuce and 3 exact pieces of shrimps. The cesar salad is just unbelievable. I mean the shrimps were good but only putting 3 for 32$? And the uncut lettuce ? Overpriced… why are those ingredients worth 32 damn dollars?

I went a couple weeks ago back on Friday for their jazz night and really enjoyed the atmosphere , food ans service . A Must try if you’re into jazz or simply a nice atmosphere

Dont bother with Uber eats and the BOGO deal. It's basically two personal sized pizzas for 40$. That said it's really good! I would just go there instead. I got the Signature Magpie special.

The food was good. I tried the burrata pizza and the truffle fries which I enjoyed. But it is SO HOT inside the place. We were all sweating at our table and walked out early because it was just way too hot inside.

Magpie Magique is a speakeasy bar really magical with Saturdays Jazz nights 🎷 The menu dégustation and service is out of this world and the restaurant was purchased newly by two professional and friendly chefs. The experience is another level: art on a plate. Each course is thoughtfully plated and letting you really appreciate the flavors 🥗 The drinks aren’t just something to sip but they’re part of the whole experience 🍸

Great spot to catch live jazz and enjoy some wonderful cocktails. The bartender was a good sport, happy to create non-menu items at our request. Service was fine if a little scattered; it took a few rounds of edits to get the bills for our party of five properly sorted out.

Food: The food was amazing, I tried the tasting menu, everything tasted fresh and well balanced. I had the aged black angus striploin, it was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The cooks clearly have a ton of exerience. Service: The waiters/waitresses were super polite and welcoming, they knew the menu very well and everything we ordered arrived within a very good timeframe considering that the place was almost running at full capacity. Atmosphere: I went there on a friday, there was a live band playing jazz/blues. The music was neither too loud nor too quiet, it was simply perfect, you could have a conversation with the person next to you without having to yell for them to hear you. It definitely added a relaxing ambiance to the evening. It was overall an excellent experience.
