Just had a lovely dinner at Maggie Oakes. Pascal, Emil, and the gentleman who welcomed us were professional and attentive. The food was delicious (Maggie’s cheeseburger and sesame crusted salmon, salad and dessert), and the service from all members of the team was excellent. Would definitely go again when in the area.

Such a memorable experience at Maggie Oakes. My family and I dined here for the first time to celebrate both my birthday and Mother's Day. The quality of the food was outstanding and the mashed potatoes perfectly complement the steak. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good steakhouse!

Maggie Oakes delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time - friendly, helpful staff across the board, and our server was genuinely the best I’ve ever had (perfect timing, great energy, and made the whole night feel special). The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and my filet mignon was cooked perfectly - made even better by an absolutely unreal bordelaise sauce that tied everything together.

Dining at this restaurant is always a pleasure. I selected this place to introduce my friends to one of Montreal's hidden gems, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Despite the heavy rain outside, the staff remained kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. We started our evening with cocktails and wine in the central lounge, which offered a cozy, intimate setting. Although we arrived without a reservation, one of the managers accommodated us, providing a table in a particularly special spot near the vertical garden. The seating was comfortable, and the lighting was just right, enhancing the overall ambiance. Our waitress was friendly and attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant’s atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern and elegant, making it suitable for any occasion. The music played at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation. As always, the food was outstanding. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the variety of desserts was the perfect conclusion to our meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend the Steak Bavette, Salmon Tartare, the tropical cocktail, and of course, the desserts. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The warm, welcoming atmosphere combined with the modern décor immediately set the tone for a memorable evening. Being asked where we preferred to sit made us feel genuinely valued—having that choice is all about comfort. Continuing our now-established tradition during business dinners, we were welcomed with glasses of sparkling wine upon arrival. We began with a selection of the house specialty cocktails, the perfect way to open our appetites. Sacha, the restaurant director, was, as always, friendly, attentive, and meticulous, ensuring that every detail contributed to an outstanding experience. For starters, we shared popcorn shrimp, salmon tartare, chicken Caesar salad, and grilled tuna tataki—each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. For the main courses, we chose the grilled salmon, steak baguette, and cod. Every plate was flawlessly presented, with each dish cooked to perfection. To finish, we enjoyed a perfectly curated dessert selection, offering both variety and indulgence—the ideal way to close the evening. The service was impeccable throughout the night, consistently attentive and always ready to assist, whether refilling water or suggesting another drink. Terrible experience today. They make me wait for 40 minutos to serve my food. Definitely I will not going back. After 20 minutes I ordered I ask for my food and the dishonest guy told me ten minutes more. Again I asked and one lady told me: Sorry we just open the kitchen. So why nobody told me when I ordered? I will never going back.
