We went here for brunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow and disorganized. It took a long time to get our starter, and then almost another hour before the main course arrived. In total, we waited more than two hours for the meal. Even at the end, we had trouble finding someone to bring us the bill so we could pay and leave. The pancakes were actually very good, but the shakshuka egg was not good at all. It was watery. Overall, the long wait and poor service made the experience frustrating, which is unfortunate

I stayed at Hotel William Gray and ate at this establishment for almost every meal. The staff were welcoming and the food satisfying. Shout out to Pascal! My friend and I were always happy to receive his service.

This is a delightful spot. The fresh warm bread and butter was a highlight, and our server made excellent recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried and still talk about how wonderful our meal was. Thank you Jeremy!!

We came here for brunch, but it took about 30 minutes just to receive our drinks and over an hour for our food. The service felt slow and inattentive, and the food itself was just okay. Overall, we expected better quality from this restaurant.

Deplorable! As soon as I arrived, I went to Cafe Olympico and decided to make a reservation for the restaurant at the hotel lounge. I take a seat and observe the menu. 2 minutes after, what appeared to be a security guy called Kamel, tells me “what you doing here?- you cant be here”. No questions or anything, just straight saying this. I said “I am making a reservation for the restaurant”. He says “leave now!”. I said “Sir, please give me some minutes so I can reserve”. He insisted me to leave and raised his voice to which I replied “this is absurd, there is no reason for you to be rude.” He told me “you’re crazy if you plan on staying here”. I then decided to leave. It is very implausible to ask for clients to leave and this felt as an attack. As a member of a minority group, I might not look rich to his eyes but he has no right to call me crazy or treat me like that. Well, now you lost not only one client but ill make sure the people I know, are aware if this.

Their washrooms are so dirty, the staff are unfriendly, and the food is dry and tasteless. I don't recommend this place.

Their French onion soup is absolutely spectacular, rich, flavorful, and comforting. They made this version with beer. The lunch menu is very well thought out, starting at around $28 CAD per person. You can choose a main and a dessert, or a main and an appetizer, and there are small extras for certain upgrades. For example, selecting the onion soup comes with a $4 CAD extra. Portions are larger than I expected. I also tried the stuffed pasta, which was really tasty and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great spot

Just had a lovely dinner at Maggie Oakes. Pascal, Emil, and the gentleman who welcomed us were professional and attentive. The food was delicious (Maggie’s cheeseburger and sesame crusted salmon, salad and dessert), and the service from all members of the team was excellent. Would definitely go again when in the area.

Such a memorable experience at Maggie Oakes. My family and I dined here for the first time to celebrate both my birthday and Mother's Day. The quality of the food was outstanding and the mashed potatoes perfectly complement the steak. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good steakhouse!

Maggie Oakes delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time - friendly, helpful staff across the board, and our server was genuinely the best I’ve ever had (perfect timing, great energy, and made the whole night feel special). The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and my filet mignon was cooked perfectly - made even better by an absolutely unreal bordelaise sauce that tied everything together.

Dining at this restaurant is always a pleasure. I selected this place to introduce my friends to one of Montreal's hidden gems, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Despite the heavy rain outside, the staff remained kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. We started our evening with cocktails and wine in the central lounge, which offered a cozy, intimate setting. Although we arrived without a reservation, one of the managers accommodated us, providing a table in a particularly special spot near the vertical garden. The seating was comfortable, and the lighting was just right, enhancing the overall ambiance. Our waitress was friendly and attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant’s atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern and elegant, making it suitable for any occasion. The music played at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation. As always, the food was outstanding. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the variety of desserts was the perfect conclusion to our meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend the Steak Bavette, Salmon Tartare, the tropical cocktail, and of course, the desserts. For starters, we shared popcorn shrimp, salmon tartare, chicken Caesar salad, and grilled tuna tataki—each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. For the main courses, we chose the grilled salmon, steak baguette, and cod. Every plate was flawlessly presented, with each dish cooked to perfection. To finish, we enjoyed a perfectly curated dessert selection, offering both variety and indulgence—the ideal way to close the evening. The service was impeccable throughout the night, consistently attentive and always ready to assist, whether refilling water or suggesting another drink.
