I got the Tomacluck and tbh I'm very disappointed. It looked nothing like what was advertised on social media. Was basically a regular fried chicken leg and thigh for $12.99. It was very bland and tasteless. Didn't even taste of salt or black pepper. I had to get an extra sauce at the counter for $2.50 extra just to make it edible. Lady was very nice at the counter and brought us our food to the table so giving high marks for service. Place was clean so giving high marks for atmosphere.

Good food, but the service at the counter was terrible. No smile at all, the girl almost rolled her eyes at me while I was ordering the most simple thing ever! We also had to eat with our jackets on because it was so cold inside. What an experience!

Despite the poor reviews, I decided to try Madame Poulet — and they were right. At lunchtime the place was empty. The chicken strips looked crispy but were not hot and had almost no flavor, as if they had been sitting out. The sauces were bland, and the purple coleslaw was small and didn’t even try it. The only positive: the waffle fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. It’s disappointing because good crispy chicken is rare in Québec. The concept is there, but the execution is weak. If you go, take it to go and fix it at home.
