My boyfriend and I went in today for Valentine’s Day (table for 2). We were seated quickly, and our server took our order within the first 5 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting for our two Benedictine plates, I asked our server for an update. She said she would check—but never returned. (Honestly, I should have noticed the red flags right when we walked in. A family of three was leaving and their daughter was crying. Looking back, it was definitely because they never got their food either.) After 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting, I asked again if our food was coming. She mentioned the kitchen was understaffed and went to check. When she finally came back, after we had been sitting there for almost 2 full hours, she told us there were still three tables that would be served before us, what a joke! I asked her how it was possible that we still had no food, and she then said the order tickets must have gotten mixed up in the kitchen. At that point, we had been sitting there for two hours with absolutely no food (starving). Even a family of four with two young children, who had arrived after us, ended up leaving before us because their kids were too hungry to keep waiting. They left disappointed as well. We eventually told the server to cancel our order and we left. One of my worst dining experiences ever (if it even counts as one because I never received any food).

It's one thing when a restaurant is busy which I totally understand , but when you are greeted with indifferent attitude its very disappointing; TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE. We knew the place was busy , so I expected a bit of a waiting time , but the hostess only ask if I had a reservation ( which I didn't even know that they were taking reservations now ) Ive been to the restaurant many times as I am a local in Verdun; then when I asked about the waiting time she said "NO IDEA" with a very rude tone ... She didn't even came back to check on us or give us an estimate, she Cleary did not care about accommodating us ... Anyway it's a shame because we used to be regulars , I won't be coming back any time soon
