I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I ate there and I got food poisoning. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling queasy and nauseous and then I puked my brains out. After that I felt fine. I was feeling fine before I ate there - in perfect health, then I ate some seafood and then I threw up. What else could it be? Even if I didn’t get sick, I thought the lobster rolls were not very good because they were served cold. Who wants that? Lobster rolls should be served hot covered with melted garlic butter. I don’t get the hype about this place. Also found the seating very cramped. We were a group of four at a very small table that just felt uncomfortable. It’s a small place and they try to pack it in as much as possible and you feel that and it doesn’t feel good. Can’t recommend it.

Big disappointment with the lobster rolls. We ordered on Uber Eats for $109 and when we received our lobster rolls, there was barely any lobster for the two buns. we had ordered from Lucille’s near Centre Bell and knew what to expect in terms of quantity, but the standard wasn’t just met here. Moreover, the fries were soaked and humid. Thankfully, the manager was kind enough to answer the phone and offer a refund.

Sadly this was a spot I enjoyed having dinner or a few drinks at. I don't know what happened since the last time I went, but almost all the staff is new and service is greatly suffering. The quality of the drinks dropped to the gutter, and staff on the floor are clearly hired more for their looks than their skills... which was really ackward since I was there on a date with my boyfriend. This is not Hooters. It used to be a somewhat classy environment, with a clientele a little bit on the older/fancier side enjoying the quality of the food and the drinks. This time around the food was still really good, but completely overshadowed by the poor quality of the overpriced drinks and clumsy service. The shift in management towards a more party- fratboys- focus atmosphere really shows, and not in a positive way. Really disappointed in this change of direction/atmosphere. Also, reading recent comments, I'm suspecting a lot of fake reviews (way too praising, and as if every customer knew the name of every staff member, down to the cook 😅).

Haven’t been to Lucille’s in a bit. Food was delicious as usual. They are trying some new items for their menu and sent us a few to sample, have to say they did not disappoint! Some great stuff heading our way, will definitely be back very soon. The staff and service was actually better than usual. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars was just the level of the music, it won’t keep me away, but the volume could be turned down just a tad imho.

I’ve been coming to Lucille’s Oyster Dive on Monkland for years, and it has always been one of my favorite spots,but tonight was on another level. Something has definitely changed (in the best way possible). The chef and the entire team went above and beyond. From the moment we sat down, everything was exceptional: generous portions, outstanding service, and an incredible flow of food that just kept coming. From delicious margaritas, to a comforting New England clam chowder, to tacos and so much more, every bite was spot on. We were a group of six, and every single one of us left smiling, full, and happy. And the chocolate dessert… absolutely unreal. Truly to die for! A huge thank you to Nick, who had me laughing and smiling from the moment I walked in—and for giving me the exact table I asked for in the back (thank you!). Chef Mark, you are amazing, bravo! And Kim and Stephanie treated us like absolute royalty all night. Attentive, warm, and flawless service. Lucille’s has always been great, but tonight reminded me why it’s a true neighborhood gem. Can’t wait to come back again and again.

It is always great whenever we go! Last night was really outstanding because they were testing some of the new items on their upcoming menu. We were brought extra dishes, (mining crab cakes, breaded and fried veal, baked potatoes...) on top of what we ordered. All completely on the house. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive and music and atmosphere were rocking.

Went last night for our anniversary and it did not disappoint at all! They offered us a dozen dollar oysters on the house as soon as we sat down! They are pretty small but nonetheless delicious. We also tried the premium oysters which were spot on! New York Steak and Half Octopus as our mains, perfection! Drinks were on point all night. Will definitely be going back. Thank you to the whole team at Lucille's Monkland

On a Sunday night, the restaurant was moderately full. I love the slanted mirrors so you can check out the rest of the establishment. One thing I remember, though, is that our waitress ( who was excellent) referred to us a couple of times as " my loves." I found that a little awkward. I know I am being a little bit picky, and I don't recall her name, so she'll have to figure out who I am, and I appreciate everything else that she did. It doesn't take anything away from my excellent experience. Oh, and she highly recommended the grilled octopus salad, which was amazing. Thanks for that young lady.

Perfect ending to a wonderful ski trip. Was the missing piece in helping us to kick off the new year! The tomohawk steak was next level, everything was delicious and Leah offered great service. Would highly recommend!
