Lucille’s really went down in the last decade. The food tasted like it was frozen beforehand. I was really disappointed in their fried calamari. I’ve eaten better fried calamari in a sports bar. Also, there’s a unisex bathroom, which makes no sense to me. I was in one of the stalls and locked the door (obviously) and a man walked in on me and actually yelled that I should’ve locked the door, to which I replied I did and the lock was clearly broken. Why do unisex bathrooms exist? Is it for everyone’s safety? I’ll never come back here again because of the bathroom situation. I can forgive the food being mid but I won’t put myself or any other female in a situation like that again.

The staff is friendly and the service was good but the food was horrible. All our cuts of meat came wrong. Kids meal is a joke. Pasta and butter that even the pasta was crunchy.

We booked a table for a surprise anniversary dinner. The restaurant manager, Jay, was incredibly accommodating to all of our requests (we had a lot!) from beginning to end. All of the staff involved (from the hostesses, servers, bartenders and cooks) also had a hand in the amazing experience and success of the evening. Delicious wine and food, would hands down recommend! Thank you!

I went to Lucille’s with some friends last weekend and it was an absolute blast. The atmosphere of the place is very enjoyable and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the glazed salmon and it was amazing. We had the pleasure to be served by Raphaelle, she was impeccable and such a joy to be served by, her timing was on point and she was very attentive and made sure to make our experience wonderful! Would come again!

I went here for the third time with my girlfriend and her sister on my Birthday this past Thursday. Mike was our server and he was truly amazing. Fast service, very attentive and made us feel super comfortable. This was my third time and while each time prior was great, this was definitely by far the best experience I've had there. The food recommendations were great and our meal was lovely. I will definitely be coming back, hopefully we get Mike again next time!

I’ve been to Lucille’s Laval with my friend a couple years ago and I was so excited to take my mom there. We had the lamb chops and the lobster rolls, the service was great and everything tasted good, 30mins-1h after I left the restaurant my stomach felt weird (I haven’t eaten anything before or after the restaurant) and it only got worse from there… you guessed right, I got food poisoning I’m guessing from the lobster. From 5pm to 6am I spent it in the bathroom. It wasn’t until 8am this morning that I felt good enough to finally fall asleep. I’m super disappointed and won’t be going there again!

We went in for Valentines dinner, I think our servers name was Chris? I feel bad for not remembering, cuz he was awesome and answered all my questions about the menu and what he recommends for our next visit. Husband had to steak frites and I had one guedille with Asian seared tuna salad. It really hit the spot, excellent balance of flavors and nice texture. The guedille was done in the classic style, heaping with lobster mix and nice soft (i think) brioche bun. Husbands steak was cooked correctly, medium as he asked and he seemed pleased. The menus really well curated, our server told us its put together with a team of chefs so its nice to have all the variety of flavors and definitely piqued our interest to come by again. We finished with a maple cheesecake, very creamy and kept shape, excellent combination with the maple syrup. Will be back again, and will ask for the same server again if hes there.

If you are gluten intolerant, DO NOT trust their website, save your money go somewhere else. Website should be upgraded and taken seriously. Waitress confirmed there is not a separate fryer for fries and also could not order the Bang Bang shrimp. In the end I only ordered one plate, instead of three. Tables are too close together, we heard other peoples conversations and bus boys kept bumping into our chairs without apologizing. Our waitress was professional, answered all our questions and had great suggestions, but the music was too loud and she could not hear our orders, we all had to repeat them. Staff that brings your food to the table should be properly trained, Two of them went over our plates and heads, dropped some fries in one water glass instead of going around our table to serve the plates to the person that ordered it. Our whole table decided unanimously we would not return.

Had such a great dinner at Lucille’s Laval!We started with oysters and the bang bang shrimp, both were delicious. The oysters were super fresh, and the bang bang shrimp was perfectly crispy with the best sauce (definitely a must-order). I got the lobster roll and it was good, lots of lobster. My whiskey sour was really well made.Overall just a great vibe, good service, and amazing seafood. We’ll definitely be back!

Subject: Formal Complaint – Steak Served Undercooked (Well-Done Ordered) To Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent visit to your Laval location. I specifically ordered my steak well done, yet it was served clearly undercooked, with a very pink interior (photo attached). This is not a matter of preference — the steak was objectively not cooked to the level requested. Employee was very understanding, he agreed that it’s not well done, he offered to take it back & bring a new plate with a well done steak. He brought back the same plate with same steak but this time they burned the two sides. So a supervisor came after he discovered that the kitchen served back same steak. He apologized offered another free plate but I refused I was upset & couldn’t eat anymore. For a restaurant of your reputation and pricing, this level of inaccuracy is unacceptable. Cooking a steak to the requested temperature is a basic expectation, especially when the order was clearly stated twice. Serving an undercooked steak after requesting well-done shows a lack of attention to detail and quality control. This experience was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standards I expected from your establishment. That was the 5th time we go to Lucille Laval & the last time.

It’s our favourite restaurant, it’s not our first time in that restaurant. They have very good steaks and amazing shrimp and calamari entrée, every time we are there- it’s like a “home feel” experience and the crew is amazing because they make us feel special! Mike, Mikael and Jason(manager), are the people we mostly deal with and they make our evening unforgettable, and as if we are only people in that restaurant! We are going to get there back and back and back again for that experience!
