We went in for Valentines dinner, I think our servers name was Chris? I feel bad for not remembering, cuz he was awesome and answered all my questions about the menu and what he recommends for our next visit. Husband had to steak frites and I had one guedille with Asian seared tuna salad. It really hit the spot, excellent balance of flavors and nice texture. The guedille was done in the classic style, heaping with lobster mix and nice soft (i think) brioche bun. Husbands steak was cooked correctly, medium as he asked and he seemed pleased. The menus really well curated, our server told us its put together with a team of chefs so its nice to have all the variety of flavors and definitely piqued our interest to come by again. We finished with a maple cheesecake, very creamy and kept shape, excellent combination with the maple syrup. Will be back again, and will ask for the same server again if hes there.

If you are gluten intolerant, DO NOT trust their website, save your money go somewhere else. Website should be upgraded and taken seriously. Waitress confirmed there is not a separate fryer for fries and also could not order the Bang Bang shrimp. In the end I only ordered one plate, instead of three. Tables are too close together, we heard other peoples conversations and bus boys kept bumping into our chairs without apologizing. Our waitress was professional, answered all our questions and had great suggestions, but the music was too loud and she could not hear our orders, we all had to repeat them. Staff that brings your food to the table should be properly trained, Two of them went over our plates and heads, dropped some fries in one water glass instead of going around our table to serve the plates to the person that ordered it. Our whole table decided unanimously we would not return.

Had such a great dinner at Lucille’s Laval!We started with oysters and the bang bang shrimp, both were delicious. The oysters were super fresh, and the bang bang shrimp was perfectly crispy with the best sauce (definitely a must-order). I got the lobster roll and it was good, lots of lobster. My whiskey sour was really well made.Overall just a great vibe, good service, and amazing seafood. We’ll definitely be back!

Subject: Formal Complaint – Steak Served Undercooked (Well-Done Ordered) To Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent visit to your Laval location. I specifically ordered my steak well done, yet it was served clearly undercooked, with a very pink interior (photo attached). This is not a matter of preference — the steak was objectively not cooked to the level requested. Employee was very understanding, he agreed that it’s not well done, he offered to take it back & bring a new plate with a well done steak. He brought back the same plate with same steak but this time they burned the two sides. So a supervisor came after he discovered that the kitchen served back same steak. He apologized offered another free plate but I refused I was upset & couldn’t eat anymore. For a restaurant of your reputation and pricing, this level of inaccuracy is unacceptable. Cooking a steak to the requested temperature is a basic expectation, especially when the order was clearly stated twice. Serving an undercooked steak after requesting well-done shows a lack of attention to detail and quality control. This experience was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standards I expected from your establishment. That was the 5th time we go to Lucille Laval & the last time.

It’s our favourite restaurant, it’s not our first time in that restaurant. They have very good steaks and amazing shrimp and calamari entrée, every time we are there- it’s like a “home feel” experience and the crew is amazing because they make us feel special! Mike, Mikael and Jason(manager), are the people we mostly deal with and they make our evening unforgettable, and as if we are only people in that restaurant! We are going to get there back and back and back again for that experience!

Food is good but it is obvious that shrinkflation has hit this establishment. Salad should be more than just leaves. Tables are a little too close together.

I had the pleasure of dining at Lucille’s last night. The appetizers we had( bang bang shrimp, tuna tartar and burrata cheese was out of this world 😊. We had the pleasure of meeting the mgr Jason, he knows how to keep his clients happy with his attention and positive attitude. Our main course was as good as the appetizers. The chocolate desert with a raspberry coulis keep us wanting more. It is a must try restaurant in Laval. Thank you again Jason for the Great 5 ⭐️experience.

I had a surprise anniversary here, the service 10 out of 10. 10! Out of 10. I had a special cake get dropped off with special instructions and people arriving at different times, and table requirements etc etc, and every time I thought I was asking for something outrageous. The Manager Jay smiled and said absolutely. He made this evening very special. His staff went above and beyond and helped me pull off a great night. My special honoured guests LOVED the food. They absolutely loved the ambience. The wine excellent. The old fashioned excellent. From the first bite of the fried chicken starter to the main I was blown away by their willingness to make everyone at my table feel special. It was definitely a night worth remembering. We WILL be back and I hope everyone that’s there stays there because I want to relive this night. A++++++++++++

I celebrated my birthday there yesterday. Everything was perfect, the staff was very friendly, kind and attentive, especially Zoé and Charles (thank you to you both). I recommend this place 100% if you’re looking for a positive experience!

Tried calling to take a reservation, girl answers and keeps me on hold for 10 minutes and after waiting she picks up the line and hangs up in my face, tried calling straight back twice and didn’t answer me, never going or advising anyone to do business with these people

Many thanks for an excellent experience. The service by ZOE was outstanding. The atmoshere is usually great in this restaurant. It was a quite evening during our last visit due to the severe wheater conditions.

Last year , I was seated and waited almost 30 minutes without being attended. I tried to get the staff’s attention, but no one came. When I decided to leave, I felt there was a misunderstanding, as I had not been served anything. I hope the service can improve in the future.

Great ambience and excellent food. The manager, Jason, was very attentive after a small issue with an oyster and handled it professionally, turning our experience into an exceptional one. We were served by Sarah, who also provided outstanding service.

We have been going to Lucille’s for many years, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff consistently pays attention to the smallest details. First visit to Lucille’s last night and it certainly won’t be the last! From the moment we walked in around 18:30, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and a gentleman who appeared to be the owner or general manager. The welcome was warm, welcoming, genuine, inviting, and set the tone immediately: this is a place that truly values hospitality. Once seated, our waitress Zoe came over to introduce herself and bring us water. Right from the start, she was professional, courteous, and most importantly she demonstrated sincere care for our experience. Attentive without hovering, warm without being overbearing. Service done right. What we ordered: • Espresso Martinis (2): absolutely delicious. Smooth, well-balanced, and expertly crafted. The kind that makes you pause and appreciate every sip. • Starter to share: Fried Chicken with Kentucky Coleslaw: outstanding. Perfectly crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The coleslaw added just the right amount of freshness and balance. Comfort food elevated. • Mains (shared): o Black Angus Cheeseburger: rich, juicy, and expertly executed. High-quality beef, perfectly cooked, indulgent without being overwhelming. o 10oz NY Strip Steak: exceptional. Tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and clearly a cut of excellent quality. A steak that speaks for itself. • Dessert: Tiramisu: jaw-dropping. Decadent, airy, and perfectly balanced. Each bite was better than the last, a flawless ending to the meal. Throughout the evening, Zoe remained attentive, responsive, and genuinely committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience. The manager/owner (a gentleman in his mid-40s with short hair, unfortunately didn’t catch his name) also stopped by our table: friendly, engaged, and clearly invested in his guests. Can’t wait to go back !
