The place is beautiful. The food itself is okay. The vegan attempt at making seafood with plants yet charging seafood orices is probably the least favorite part of our experience. Food is visually appealing but the flavor is not really there.

We had the California bowl and Cari Coco Coconut curry. Both were very delicious!

The service was ok, nothing spectacular or terrible thus 3/5, atmosphere is a 4/5 the place is nice for pictures. The food was terrible, the Shakshuka looks nice on the picture but the egg was not runny and should be poached. The sauce tasted like it just came out of the can with no salt or seasoning. For that price you can get a decent shakshuka at Pigeon cafe, L’avenue, cafe velora, Shay or basically anywhere. The coffee was bland and the $11 Tango Mango is made with frozen fruits and oasis juice. Overall I would not recommend this place, ok for meeting friends to catch up but not to actually eat something half decent.

What an absolute gem! I’m so pleased I found this amazing veggie and vegan restaurant on the Happy Cow app. I actually went twice in one day because the food was that good and my hotel is right opposite, so it couldn’t have been more convenient. For breakfast I had the energy bowl, which was lovely and fresh, although I think it could have done with a little more granola or perhaps some cacao or extra nuts for added texture. For dinner I chose the California bowl with sweet potato fries and a Virgin-ini mocktail. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the bowl was a rainbow of colour, with all the flavours complementing each other beautifully. I don’t usually order mocktails, but this one was delicious and so well presented it genuinely felt like a treat. The staff were very attentive. I was seated and had my order taken quickly, and the food arrived promptly too, which I really appreciated as a hungry solo traveller. I loved the feel of the place, and I’m so glad I saw it in the evening with the lanterns all lit. It created such a warm, atmospheric setting. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area.

We went for Valentines Day yesterday, food was good, unfortunately the service was terrible. They didnt have enough tables despite everyone coming with a reservation. We saw a couple calling the paramedics as it seems allergy instructions werent followed. They told us one of the main courses was no longer available to then bring me that dish semi-warm. We ordered drinks that never came. Overall not the best Valentines experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. 💚 We’re truly sorry that your Valentine’s Day visit did not meet expectations. That evening was very busy, but the issues you describe — delays, missing drinks, communication around menu availability, and food temperature — are not reflective of the standards we aim to provide even on busy nights. Regarding the situation you witnessed, guest safety is extremely important to us and we take any allergy-related concern very seriously. Your feedback has been shared with our management team so we can review what happened and learn from it to improve future service. We’re sincerely sorry that what should have been a special evening was disappointing.

Went for Saint Valentine's Day. My girlfriend is allergic to walnuts. I made sure to specify that during the booking. We then mentioned that again at the restaurant itself. Waiter noted this etc. Dinner goes well and then comes desert. And guess what was in the desert? Walnuts. Got us a very romantic trip to the hospital in the ambulance. The paramedics were lovely. The restaurant? Never again.

We are truly and deeply sorry for what happened. There is no excuse for an allergen being served after it was clearly communicated during the reservation and again at the restaurant. Your safety should always be our priority, and we take full responsibility for this incident. Our director has attempted to contact you to follow up personally. We would sincerely appreciate it if you could reach out to us at [email protected] to make sure you are doing well, and to understand if there is anything we can do following this situation. Following an internal review, we have revalidated our allergy procedures with the entire team to learn from this incident and prevent it from happening again. We are sincerely sorry that what should have been a special evening resulted in such a frightening experience.

My fiancée and I celebrated our engagement dinner here, and it was the perfect choice. The lighting was romantic, the tables were lovely, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the arancini, the carbonara, and the risotto, and we inhaled everything. The carbonara in particular was a standout—that mushroom sauce recipe could be in a vault and guarded 24/7. Thank you to the entire staff for the wonderful, thoughtful experience!

Thank you so much for choosing LOV to celebrate such a special moment — congratulations on your engagement! 💚✨ We’re truly honored you spent your engagement dinner with us and that the lighting, atmosphere, and food helped make the evening memorable. Hearing that you “inhaled everything” made us smile — and we love your description of the carbonara sauce… maybe we should guard that recipe in a vault! 😉 Your kind words mean so much to our entire team. We wish you both all the happiness ahead and hope to welcome you back for many more celebrations.
