We visited here during our trip to Quebec City. Quite an unfortunate experience as the service was extremely lacking and incredibly slow due to there only being one server. The server had to rush around the entire restaurant and I felt bad for her as she told us she was the only one working there besides her boss, who did not seem to serve any tables. The food was overpriced for what it was and the fish and chips during lunchtime came with one piece and could be eaten in two bites. Definitely the smallest fish and chips that I have had in my life. The lobster burger was drenched in sauce and tasted like a mayo burger rather than a lobster one.

Try the fish fry based on the reviews of other people but I didn't find it all that great. Taste was okay but it was very greasy and heavy. Fries were good as was the beer. Service speedy.

I came in here because it was across the street from my hotel and the menu looked interesting. Didn’t expect much but I was blown away. The food was incredible! The most perfectly cooked scotch egg and a phenomenal beef cheek. Everybody was super friendly and they had live entertainment on a Wednesday night that was great. Chef Mario, thanks for the great meal.

Fish a little greasy. Fries could be thicker and not fastfood fries. Keep the Quebec beer, but need more British beer/bitters, play music by British artists only. Your layout is totally British but it's a poor man British wannabe. You may be a located Quebec restaurant, but I am going to eat in a British restaurant...like I am in Britian.

4 of us went for lunch today and got the brunch menu at noon. Took awhile for service and then took a long while for food to arrive. One meal was missed and went back for a reorder. My wife and mine were freezing cold when they arrived and not appealing at all. Our friends said there's was ok but my wife and mine rated in the worst 5 ever. And we are not young! Good service and food deserves good reviews. This is not one of those.

Love the ambiance. Was a nice place to eat at with a live performance and good food! The braised beef was the highlight of the dinner. It was so good, I'd go back just for this dish! Fish and chip was okay. A bit overcooked so it ended up dry and not as tasty as we expected. The toffee pudding cake was also overbaked and dry. We took the royal platter to share. Was good, just a lot of fried food so we were getting full just from eating the appetizers 😅 Also waitress was super nice and welcoming. She really explained the whole menu with enthusiasm. Her patience and occasional check ins made us feel comfortable. Reco would be to get the braised beef, hands down!

I wanted to like this place. But the food was… not so great. I had a chicken burger with a Caesar salad, I don’t know what they put on the salad but it was disgusting. My partner agreed. Chicken burger was okay at best. My partner’s poutine tasted like salty Coors Light. Service and atmosphere were good.

Popped in London Jack on July 15 to watch England vs Argentina game, when I entered I was rudely asked if I had a reservation, I responded with a no, so I was told to make a reservation, because they are busy for the the game (while she walked away) I responded with that’s OK, I’ll go to the restaurant next door. Pub du Parvis, which had way more Tv’s. My issue is there was only a handful of people before the game started, so at hydration break I felt the need to see how full it was only to find lots of empty tables still. At half time I walked back in and checked how packed it was, I was approached by another waitress and I asked her if I needed a reservation, which she told me no I don’t, which is appropriate/ courteous response and I explained to her what happened before the match started, where we were told we needed a reservation. I personally don’t want to be served in an establishment that chooses to behave like this where they pick and choose who they’re gonna let in. Restaurant had MORE than enough space to accommodate 3 people for 2 hours. They had plenty empty tables at the beginning to end of the game. We left believing the waitress had an issue with brown people from what I have personally experienced today and I believe that’s why the restaurant wasn’t packed to begin with. However the restaurant next door Pub du Parvis Great food Great atmosphere Absolutely brilliant service

A fabulous experience!!! The food was excellent. Our group ordered fish and chips and the flank steak. All of the dishes came out perfect and were delicious! But what really made our evening was our encounter with Thomas, our bartender. He was personable and made our evening wonderful! And he made some fabulous cocktails!! He made our last night in Quebec City memorable. Thank you!

We had a reservation to watch the game, but when we arrived, we were seated at a table with a terrible view, right beside the entrance to the kitchen. It was almost impossible to watch the game. We immediately asked to be moved, but the first staff member told us our table was fine. Later, we asked our server again. While we were waiting, we saw several walk-in customers with no reservation being seated at much better tables with a clear view of the game. The only positive thing about our table was that it gave us a direct view into the kitchen area. From there, I observed several concerning hygiene practices. On multiple occasions, I saw ALL servers clearing dirty dishes and then immediately handling clean plates to serve other customers without washing or sanitizing their hands. The person who appeared to be the manager was doing the same. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. If you're looking for a place to watch a game, choose somewhere else. Because of the hygiene practices I personally observed, I have already filed a complaint with the appropriate food safety authority.

We started our first night in Quebec city with nachos/chicken and an absolute amazing server. We ended our last night with a nightcap and our same amazing server…….Rosalie ! Thank you so very much for your hospitality, your generosity and your friendliness. As for the noise level, both times England was playing in FIFA so it was good cheering and good fun

Great restaurant, ordered 2 breakfasts; eggs+bagels+cheese+coffee & tea. Value meals, excellent service. Compared to the Table restaurant inside PUR hotel; this London Jack is way much better than the others. Thanks for the serving crew.

I went to watch the England/Panama game with a friend and our respective kids (i have 2 she has 1). We had a great table with our own TV so we could watch the game. The waitress was not very friendly and seemed annoyed most of the time. The food was okay, but overpriced. Drinks were good.

Best fish & Chips! Compliments to the chef! Really enjoyed the atmosphere, excellent customer service. Staff and management really make you feel welcomed. Band played a couple of Oasis tunes…nice addition to the Britpop vibe. Definitely going back next time we are in Quebec.

Came here for a drink, and stayed for 2 more... Old Fashion was great, friendly staff and added a sweet cherry per my request... Place was almost accross from my hotel PUR... Never ate here, so not sure if it is good, but reviews look good...

The staff were lovely and accommodating to two travellers from out of province… but between the loud music and the large party of more than 16ppl it was really hard to hear each other from across the table. The menu wasn’t too varied but the selection was very on brand with the theme. The atmosphere might be better maybe a bit earlier in the day but evenings are a bit more robust than we were looking for.
