We had dinner at this Restaurant on our first night in Quebec City. It was quaint, quirky and utterly charming, for $80.00 we had the special, Chateaubriand for two, it included choice of soup or salad, desert and coffee. The meal was excellent and the staff efficient and very friendly. We will definitely return.

That said, a few negative reviews mention high prices, dishes that are sometimes ordinary or cold, and serious service issues during some visits.

The food is mediocre: it's not bad, but it's not tasty (and it comes cold). The worst part is the waiter's service; if he doesn't receive a 25% tip, he becomes aggressive and mistreats the customers. A horrible experience.
Marvelous attention, excellent food quality, and ambiance
I felt very welcome and the waiters were so attentive and kind!
I ate breakfast here, the egg was not good and I gave tip I wish I did not but I think I am forced to put tip in this city
Omelettes are fluffy, delicious and gluten free. Could not have the bacon or potatoes as they do not have a separate fryer so they gave me extra fruit. Gluten free toast is available
Took my mom to this restaurant for Mother’s Day brunch and it was absolutely amazing! I had the French toast and my mom had the waffle and it was delicious. We were practically licking our plates. We are definitely going to come back here. Thank you to everyone who served us :)
Best food I’ve ever ate in my whole life and the staff are the nicest people ever!!!
Incredible staff and even better food!
Super yummy food & warm hospitality.
Delicious homestyle breakfasts and great variety on the dinner menu. We had breakfasts and dinners here during our stay in Old Quebec. Never had to wait for a table. Food was always delicious, service was always fast, friendly and very accommodating with our slight menu change requests for my husband who is diabetic, and with vegetarian options for myself. Prices are quite reasonable, portions are generous. We will definitely return next time we're in Old Quebec. Highly recommend visiting this place.
We went there twice and it was beyond fantastic. I don’t normally post reviews (this is my second review). Steph with her witty banter and sense of humour made me belly laugh. A must when in Quebec City.
Excellent restaurant! We came for a lunch and breakfast. Steph has a great sense of humor and made our visit very welcoming and a great way to start the day.
Phenomenal time here. Steph is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend spending some time here.
Tremendous spot in Old Quebec, greeted by a young man by the name of Adam (or a similar A name) who got us our drinks and engaged in pleasant conversation. Ordered the Spécial Québecois which started with some light and nutritious pea soup before a slice of meat pie with delicious pastry and great filling, potato fries, salad with vegetables, and some of the best gravy I've ever had. All of this ends with a perfectly sized slice of maple pie with strawberries to end the meal. Paid around $35 for this and a mimosa, will definitely return if I'm in the area.
Stephanie was amazing and so accommodating and fun for the kids (all 4 of them). Would definitely recommend. The food was delicious too!
L'Omelette was the highlight of our trip to Quebec. The food is fantastic and straightforward—no pretension and none of that "Old Town fluff" with overpriced menus. But what truly made our night was the incredible staff. Samantha was so sweet and helpful; her service was impeccable! And Giuseppe, the owner, is a class act. He treated us like old friends and even surprised us with an extra dessert. They made us feel so welcome and at home. It truly made our evening special. Highly, highly recommended!
My husband and I stopped in for a cocktail and to try the Caribou drink during our recent trip to Quebec City. The interior decorations were lovely and the bartender was super friendly. We also met Guiseppe the owner who was a delight to talk with. I had the best apricot sour I've ever tried. The next night we stopped by again hoping to see Guiseppe but instead met his brother. We were treated to a delicious crepe on the house. Next time we are in Quebec City we'll be stopping in to say hello.
Best poutine ! Prices are a bit high but good food
My first taste of wine Quebec Maple Pie, and it was amazing
We had a great breakfast while visiting the city. The best part of our meal was Stephanie, our server, who was welcoming and just a lovely human. Highly recommend!
Love this restaurant in Quebec old city. Everything is just perfect. Good food, attending service, warm atmosphere .... Would definitely go there again if travel back to Quebec
Great service from Adam and Laura!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! From the exceptional service and cozy ambience to the delicious food, our dining experience was worth every penny. We ordered the spaghetti, pizza, and hamburger, then finished with a Black Forest cake for dessert (not pictured). The pasta tasted fresh, the pizza was perfectly cooked in a brick oven, and the burger patty was thick, juicy, and satisfying. The Black Forest cake came with warm chocolate syrup, so good! Pairing it with a mochaccino and their iced tea was the perfect touch. The gentlemen who served us were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even gave us maple cookies to take back to our hotel, such a thoughtful gesture and a true taste of Quebec hospitality. We’ll definitely be back for breakfast, and they even offered us 10% off for our next visit!
Service was amazing. Very fun. Waiter made the evening memorable with the chateaubriand table side. Great food.
