A wonderful, cozy vegan spot in the heart of downtown Montreal. While visiting Montreal - Lola Rosa appeared to be a do not skip vegan spot! I am so thrilled we made sure to visit for lunch during our Montreal adventures! The place is absolutely cozy & adorable. The tables have drawers were past visitors can leave hand written notes behind- so do check out notes from the past. Really unique & fun to check out while we waited for our food. Lots of heartfelt left messages & art from people all over the world who have visited Montreal & dined here. Besides the charm of the place itself- the food is PERFECTION. The vegan cheesesteak was SO good! Their food here is very fresh, thought out & prepared beautifully. They seem to focus on classic comfort foods but veganize them! The cheesesteak was massive complete with yummy fries. Served on a fresh pretzel bun, loaded with cheese & mock steak- it was a perfect lunch for a cold day in Montreal. A must visit while in Montreal! Good high quality vegan food & just good food in general for anyone wanting a nice relaxing dine experience.

Great restaurant for people with food allergies! I have been there twice, and on both occasions, the very friendly service staff took excellent care of me and my allergies. They carefully checked the dishes and ingredients with the kitchen, which made me feel safe and well looked after. On top of that, the food was amazing! Highly recommended, especially for people with food allergies.

Delicious vegan food! I absolutely loved it. Drinks were okay. Ambience inside is cozy. They have 3 floors. Service was kind but made some mistakes in order related to allergies.

Overall: 5 stars; one of the best vegan brunch options in Montreal. Even for non-vegans, absolutely worth a visit - try the French toast! Food: 5/5! My wife had the French toast, which she absolutely loved; it was a huge slab of light, fluffy bread, wonderful flavours, and some really outstanding poached pear. She paired a hot apple cider with it which she also really liked. I had the cajun toast, which is a kind of tofu scramble over a fresh slice of toasted bread with a very flavourful sauce, and I tried a drink I can't remember the name of which is a hot apple cider with an espresso shot in it - it doesn't sound like it should work, but it totally does. We also tried the breakfast bowl, which was _also_ extremely good - it's a tofu scramble with potato and some other protein, so very hearty and filling, and again with splendid flavours. We would happily order any or all of it again! Service: 5/5. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. Exactly what you would expect from a top-tier cafe in Montreal :) Atmosphere: 5/5. The decor is excellent, the space is airy and comfortable. It's inviting and was not too busy when we visited (11am on a Sunday).

Lola Rosa offers amazing vegan food for a very reasonable price! The bao buns are a stand out appetiser, and the chickpea fries are sensational! Also their La Rosa mocktail is really great, sweet and spicy! Really highly recommended for everyone - just make a reservation as it can get really busy

I weep at the thought of returning from my vacation and not being able to eat their food - especially their divine salads as much as I want to. From the salads, poutine, lasagna, burritos, and burgers - this place has amazing food that both vegans and non vegans will enjoy!

We tried their burger with in house chicken fries, fries were good but softer not crisp, tacos were good too, the poutine was ok, but maybe that’s how it tastes in general, crispy fries lovers may or may not like it. The spicy mocktail was good too.

Love this place! Everything was amazing. The soup, fries, tacos, bao, all so great. The lemon tart really stood out. Best lemon tart I've ever had. It had a nice thick consistency, sour and sweet. 👌 We chatted a bit with the owner. He's a super nice guy and very passionate about the food. Gave great recommendations. A little bonus to the experience: there are small drawers in the tables with a cute surprise.

best meal hands down in Montreal on my 5 day visit. what a beautiful spot. exposed brick. amazing service. i went for the braised tofu stir fry. so fresh and bursting with flavour. we ended with the brownie.

Very surprised this place has such good reviews. The food is pretty mediocre. The fries are some of the worst fries I have ever had in my life. The pretzel bun was very soft. Could definitely put more peppers and onions in the Philly cheese steak !

Really enjoyed my visit to Lola Rosa in downtown Montreal! It’s a vegan restaurant with such a great vibe. The burrito and nachos were both delicious—fresh, flavourful, and really filling. I loved the cozy ambiance. Great food🤟🏻
