The food itself is good, 7 out of 10. I like the use of different textures in the dishes, which added layers of flavours. But there is one thing which ruined the experience a little bit.When we first entered the restaurant, the receptionist/ waitor asked if we have to be served in English. We said Yes because we don't know French. We found it normal since it's not first time for us to visit a Quebecoise restaurant. Many restaurants are English friendlyThe gentleman started serving us from making the order till the first dishes. For the second dishes, another lady delivered the dish and started to introduce the dish in French. We said that we don't know French. Then she tried her best to use English to explain the dish with the help of another staff. We really appreciate her effort. Everything went smooth till the next dish.On the third dish, a third waitress deliver the dish and introduced the dish in French. My wife and I gave up this time. So on the remaining dishes, all are served by French speaking waitress.For a restaurant at this level and price point (100+ per person), it is a bit disappointed that the our English need is forgotten by the waitor who served us in first stance, who clearly knew we don't speak French, and he should know his colleagues are not good at English for serving us.We know it's Quebec, a French speaking province. But It's our fourth time to Quebec province from Ontario. First time encounter this thing.
