Very nice food and good wine pairing suggestions. They were excellent in terms of accommodating a request for gluten-free items. The tablet out is very reasonably priced and top-notch food. The star of the evening was the dessert made with the buckthorn berry.

Far from a great experience. A waiter that boasts that they just sold their last good bottle of spanish red wine to another table (dont tell me then), overcooked meal, a glass of wine spilled by same waiter and very mismanaged situation (even had to ask for my glass of wine to be replaced)…the waiter didn’t want to come serve us anymore and put the blame on my wife’s anger that her pants and bag were splashed with red wine. They did offer dessert and a digestive…and also asked (hoped) they would see us again. Hummm….not likely. And not worth a Michelin Guide recommendation.

5th time here, and it’s every bit as good as the first! Outstanding food and service every time. By the way, it’s also kid-friendly, which is something quite rare for a gastronomic restaurant. Highly recommended!

What can I say? Best cod I've ever had. Amazing lamb. Grilled mushrooms, lobster salad, and some exotic fruit dessert with grappa that sent us out the door with a smack in the butt. Loved loved loved it.

Our first visit to L’Oiseau d’à côté and it was truly an experience from start to finish. We went on a Friday after work, feeling exhausted and a bit anxious, but the moment we walked in, everything changed. The atmosphere is incredibly calming and beautifully designed, it instantly made us slow down and relax. The service was exceptional. The staff and owner were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We came with our 15-month-old, and even though it’s a more refined, chic restaurant, they made us feel completely at ease. They went out of their way to interact with him and make sure he was comfortable, which meant so much to us. The cocktails were outstanding, perfectly balanced and high quality. And the food was simply exquisite. Every dish we ordered was amazing. I had noticed something on the menu I was curious about but didn’t want to order a full portion, and they kindly brought me a small tasting. Beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. What really stood out is that nothing felt rushed. So many places make you feel like just another table, but here, it truly felt like an experience. You’re invited to slow down, enjoy the moment, and savor everything. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

The best restaurant in Saint Sauveur. Sophisticated and inventive farm-to-table menu. Everything is beautifully plated. Quiet dining room so conversations are easy and relaxed. Bonus: lots of parking in back!
