Great dishes and very friendly staff. Try the Fatteh and Shakshuka.

I haven’t seen any disorganized & mismanaged place as this restaurant in Montreal or Laval so far. The place is left to be ran by three employees on the busiest day of the season (Eid & Mother’s Day). Three people to usher, serve, wait, clean etc. We called to ask if we can be seated right away if we arrived in the coming 15 minutes, and we were assured we will be. Only to be surprised upon our arrival that we were lied to. We waited 30 minutes at the corner of the restaurant with our grandma who is 80 years old standing on her feet while we watched other people being seated (people who arrived after us). When we confronted one of the employees instead of showing empathy and finding a solution we were met with an attitude. The logical solution that one of the employees found was to ask one of the tables that were still actively eating to wrap up and leave. They ruined our Mother’s Day brunch with our family. All of this could have been avoided if the employee was honest from the moment we spoke over the phone & set realistic expectations. They are dishonest and unorganized and this is going to be problematic for their business.
Really disappointing experience. We called ahead and were told the wait would be about 10 minutes, but ended up waiting over 30 minutes in a cramped corner. To make things worse, two larger groups arrived after us and were seated first. Staff said they had reservations, but we had just seen them waiting at another restaurant moments before. The lack of honesty and transparency was frustrating and definitely not appreciated.
What a treat to find this gem of a place. I am not familiar with middle eastern food, so I asked for recommendations while practicing my very limited French and was very happy with the food I received. I left feeling I had eaten a good meal for a reasonable price served by lovely staff. Highly recommended!
We went there at Brunch hour on a sunday for the first time...the brunch platter was super nice, tasty colorful and plenty of food. Service was precise. We will make an habit !
The food and the service amazing 🤩
We had a great experience! The food was fantastic and the service was great! We recommend for anyone craving traditional food:)
Delicious syrian food! Friendly service and perfect ambiance for a morning meeting! I will be back with my family 😃
A 10/10 authentic Syrian breakfast experience. Thank you!
This was my first Syrian brunch, and it happened on one of those quiet girls’ days that stay with you. Just me, my aunt, and my cousin, nowhere to rush off to, choosing a table and choosing each other. We went to Leymoun, tucked along Rue Dudemaine. Walking in felt less like entering a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. No waiting, no hovering, no pressure to order fast. Just space to settle in, sip slowly, and talk as long as we wanted. Brunch started the way it should. With tea. A big pot of black tea, steeped in-house and ready by the time brunch rolls around. Bold, fragrant, grounding. The kind of tea that invites you to pour another cup without thinking. What we shared felt designed for lingering. Petit Déjeuner Platter A generous spread of Syrian breakfast staples meant to be passed around. Creamy dips, salty cheeses, crunchy vegetables, warm falafel, juicy green olives, and a homemade fig jam that honestly tasted like sunshine. Pomegranate seeds scattered across the plate added little bursts of brightness that kept pulling me back in. Fatté Hummus au Shawarma This was the favorite at the table. Creamy hummus layered with yogurt and tahini, topped with tender chicken shawarma, grilled almonds, and crispy pita chips. Rich, tangy, crunchy, spiced. Every bite felt complete. Shakshuka Comfort in its simplest form. Soft feta-topped eggs, sautéed onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Nothing fussy. Just satisfying and warm. Fried Halloumi with Leymoun Sauce The surprise star. Salty, golden halloumi paired with their signature za’atar, honey, and sesame sauce. Sweet, salty, herby, a little sticky, and very addictive. Everything tasted thoughtful. Like it was made with the intention of being shared. Plates kept moving, conversations kept unfolding, and time quietly stretched. This is the kind of brunch that doesn’t rush you out the door. It turns into an afternoon without asking. Foxy Tip: Come with people you love, order for the table, and don’t watch the clock. Leymoun is about slowing down and savoring more than just the food. The stories matter too. I share local gems and cultural eats over on ig @foxyappetite and TikTok @foxy.appetite, and this one truly earned its place. This meal was comped as part of a media preview. Sharing my honest thoughts above.
I was so grateful that I almost offered to do the dishes 😂🙏🏽 This place is wonderful. Mashallah!
