I am writing this review because my experience at your patisserie establishment was not only disappointing, but deeply concerning. I am a regular customer who frequently orders from EMSB Fundraiser. So on 16th of April afternoon I personally went to the store to check for myself. When I entered the store, I went directly to the section with muffins and Italian desserts. There were no customers at that moment and one employee was present. She had black thick glasses, hair dark brunette and 5ft5 height .I greeted her, but she did not respond me. I waited patiently for approximately two minutes while she continued packing items. Shortly after, another black customer arrived and was also not acknowledged. A few minutes later, an white customer entered. The employee immediately greeted her and proceeded to serve her first, despite the fact that both of us had been waiting beforehand. This difference in treatment was very clear and uncomfortable. When we questioned why we had not been served, the employee stated that I had not spoken to her, which is inaccurate. I had greeted her upon arrival and chose to wait respectfully while she finished what she was doing. So i left without buying nothing. No customer should ever feel ignored or treated differently because of the color of their skin. This was unacceptable and left a very negative impression. Hope that management will review this situation carefully and take appropriate steps to ensure all customers are treated with equal respect and professionalism.
