A very unique cafe with some unique sandwiches. Warm hospitality, happening and warm vibes. Even my 2 year old enjoyed.

It was a very disappointing experience. On a not so busy day , we walked in and gave our orders . It looked like a delightful place but we waited for more than 40 minutes for 2 ice coffees and an ice tea…. When we mentioned that , the gentleman behind the counter (maybe the owner) rolled his eyes very rudely instead of excusing himself for the delay or thinking of gracefully serving the customer. He was also quite impatient while we were ordering. In addition to all that unusual wait ,the drinks were really below average for the price , size & taste . There are many more charming places in the neighborhood that would serve you with respect and an authentic smile . We would not go back there again.

They use AI on their coffee blends that they sell. Support artists. Do better.

Hi Dryad, Thanks for taking the time to share your comment. We'd like however to highlight that: * We only get our coffee beans (both prepackaged and in bulk) from a single source: A Québec-based specialty coffee supplier - Fincafé * Fincafé is owned and operated by Hélène Lavoie and Osmin Turcios, whose plantation in Nicaragua is the source of all coffee beans Fincafé imports and sells * Coffee beans Marookies uses and sells are directly imported from Nicaragua and roasted in Quebec Eastern Townships * On the same shelf we are featuring coffee bags, Marookies is featuring local artists' work * More importantly - in terms of desserts, we are only selling our baker's creations. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Best Regards.

Shockingly overpriced! I couldn't even believe what I paid for two pastries and a cup of coffee.

Went in for the first time and I pleasantly surprised by the variety they had . The lady behind the counter asked me if this first time i was there and yes it was she offered me a small sample and I was sold . I purchased two cakes both made with cheese cake. Told her how pleased I was with the service and the cheese based cakes were absolutely amazing. All made by this wonderful woman.

Nice place with authentic design. Desserts are delicious. However, please inform your customers about difference in a price for the tea. On the menu it is almost 3.5-4$, then when you offer a different tea in a pot, it is almost 10$. It was a bad surprise when I received my bill. Desserts are expensive. For one dessert plus tea, tax and tip, I spent 26$.

Lovely place in Pointe-Claire village. Service was nice. Atmosphere is cute and cozy. Epoque type of design. Cappuccino flan 🍮 was out of this world - expensive but worth tasting it. The Turkish coffee was okayish and had no even tiny foam… Latte was okay too but nothing special. Choice of cups is a nice touch - meaning you can choose your own cup. I recommend this place.
