Great Italian restaurant in the West Island. I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza and was not disappointed. Solid amount of meat on the pizza. Smoked meat was a highlight. The cheese and pizza sauce were good too. Crust was airy yet crispy. Great pizza overall. We also had the fried calamari as entree but I must say the portion was a little disappointing considering the price. But other than that, the whole dining experience was very refined and the food tasted great. Next time I come back, I want to try the chicken parm.

Food was all delicious. The service was great.
I love this restaurant the most.Me and my husband celebrated 20 years of marriage, yesterday. My husband ordered chicken, but he didn't see that the chicken was made with ham and he doesn't eat red meat. Of course we wanted to pay extra because it was our mistake, the waiter was so kind, he immediately went and asked the kitchen to change the plate and of course they didn't charge us anything extra.By the way, I want to say to the owner that he has a very good staff and to the waiter, congratulations for his smile and kindness. I want to tell all readers that they will not regret going to this restaurant, because everything they choose is delicious, and if I could give a rating of more than 5 stars, I would give 10/10.👏👏
Atmosphère, service & quality were excellent! I will definitely return.
We had a really lovely experience at La Vieux Four Manago for our group dinner. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and checked in regularly without making us feel rushed, which made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food itself was great, and everything tasted very fresh. You could tell that care was put into the ingredients and preparation, which really stood out. The atmosphere was also very pleasant — warm, comfortable, and relaxed — making it easy for our group to sit back, enjoy our meal, and spend quality time together. One thing we really appreciated was the menu selection. There was a large variety to choose from with something for everyone, including plenty of options for both kids and adults, which can sometimes be hard to find when dining as a group. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and a place we would definitely visit again!
Made a reservation, but had to wait in a crowd by the door for a bit. Phone was ringing non stop and no hostess to be seen (packed on a Friday night). Had expected the terrace to be open by now but was disappointed. Then got a two top next to the window looking at the parking lot. I moved to have my back to the traffic. To be honest, it’s the type of table that most restaurants hold for walk-ins but the hostess was young and seemed overwhelmed. My seat was covered in food crumbs and the table and menus were greasy. Server arrived and I mentioned it but she immediately lost her smile and seemed annoyed. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and she perked up. Everything from that point went well. She was attentive, but not overly friendly. We ordered a #23 and #24 and they exceeded our expectations. Dough was perfect, a little crispy and chewy enough to enjoy. Generous toppings and delicious sauce. All in all it was a reasonably priced meal as well. Last thing, I watched a busboy clear a table and he was very careless about wiping the table down, not paying attention to flinging the food crumbs everywhere. He actually knocked into my husband’s back as he was leaving and my husband turned and said, “you good there bud?” but by then the young man just walked away. I would say that their staff needs a bit more supervision and training. But I know that it’s hard to find staff these days unfortunately.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere!
Been a while since my last visit. Still a great choice. Try the Avocado and Mango salad!
There were scrambled eggs in the carbonara and a gallon of oil
Food was delicious. Service was excellent.
Wonderful evening. It was an early Mother's day supper. The place was busy, the food wonderful.
Really like this place, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing.
Very courteous personnel. Food is consistent in quality and varied. We stayed longer than usual and although patients d the bill earlier, servers kept serving us water all along with a smile.
Great pizzas and service
We were a party of 6 and we got a table by the window as per my request. The restaurant was packed yet the waitress cheerfully took a picture of our group
Perfect !
Nice casual Italian spot in West Island. 30 years of experience here. Love the pizza.
Very disappointing experience. We are frequent customers but today's lunch was surprisingly bad all around. The cream of vegetable was only a very liquid tomato soup. The bread was overly baked and very dry. The second basket of bread was not any better, almost burnt. The classic salmon ended up being a sliver of salmon barely an inch wide, flaky, and dry because it was overcooked. The waitress turned around and disappeared as soon as she had dropped the soup in front of me. No offer of ground pepper. No offer of dessert after the meal. Not an attentive service at all.
Excellent place for lunch. Recommended 100%. Delicious food, friendly and fast service!
Great ambience for a get together and wonderful tasting wood stove pizzas.
Enjoyed an anniversary dinner. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive and the food was fabulous.
I always make my reservations on line. Your system is great, never any problems. I appreciate that. The entrance was chaotic with many people stuck together, waitstaff trying go to get through the crowd for the terrace. They could really use a door through the lower section out to the terrace .
Have eaten here many times. This time in particular, the service was so excellent. We had an experienced, friendly, patient and helpful waiter. The food was good as always. Reason for 3 starts is that upon arriving to the restaurant, I went to the washroom to "freshen up". There was no soap. I reported this immediately to 2 staff members and was told it would be taken care of right away. A couple hours later, before leaving, I returned to use the washroom. Still no soap. That kind of left me with an "ick" feeling. I imagine the staff use this washroom also. Ewwww!
Went to Le Vieux Four Manago in Kirkland and really enjoyed it. The pizza was solid, nice crust, good sauce, and generous toppings. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The place has a relaxed vibe and the service was friendly. Good spot in the West Island, I’d go back.
Everything was excellent and we were not rushed out in spite of the restaurant being quite busy. Pizza was delicious - the pizza oven in dining room makes all the difference!!
