Professional service and delicious food. Fatma was very kind serving us. Also the breakfast was delicious, a real omelette (rich in goat cheese, baby spinach, jambon, etc.) 😋😋😋 and Jean was great accommodating my wife request for.. fibres. Did you notice that lately, no hotel with breakfast included, is offering vegetables? We stayed at Universal hotel and the restaurant is different business.

Stefano was THE WORST waiter I have ever experienced in my 20 yrs of being in the food industry. He got everything on our order wrong and I witnessed him repeat this at every table he served in the restaurant. In my opinion he’s a liability and he’s poor coworkers had to fix and pick up his slack. The saddest part is I LOVE this restaurant but he left a terrible taste in my mouth I may never be back.

Nothing about our order was correct. Stefano was clearly not present of mind when he took the order. When he was not tipped he came out after us to the desk confrontational and said usually people leave at least a 15% gratuity . He did not deserve a tip and had nerve to even request one. Out of the 8 year of coming to the hotel and restaurant multiple times a year for work, this was the worse service I ever received. We observed multiple tables with the same issue. Thankfully his coworkers were able to fix whatever issues he created.

A very confusing and frustrating experience. Other tables received complimentary bread, we did not. The calamari was one of the worst ones we’ve had, extremely rubbery. Calamari, kids meal (chicken fingers and fries), salad for dinner - Greek add chicken all came out at the same time. The third entree did not arrive at the same time which was the veal osso buco risotto. The grilled chicken on the salad was dry, crispy, terrible. The only good food was the chicken tenders and fries. Kids juice is not included apparently and 5 dollars. After 20min of waiting was told they were out of risotto and would come with mashed potatoes or normal rice. Took another 15min to get. The others were done their meals by the time the veal “risotto” came - at full price. It took asking 3 times for the kids meal ice cream to get it. It was not busy at this time, no sincere apologies or compensations were given. Not great for a birthday…

We were there for a birthday party. We had a set menu with various entrées and four choices for main dish. Everything was very good, especially the main dish of osso bucco. Very generous portions too. Nice staff.

Stayed at the hotel. Went for breakfast and had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Delightful. My family also enjoyed waffles and breakfast sandwich. Would recommend more frequent checks at table for coffee refills.

Restaurant located inside the hotel Universel. There’s an outdoor patio. Can get very busy on sporting event nights. Highly recommend reservations if coming during events. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Gluten-free free items are limited but they do offer GF pasta and GF bread for breakfast. Plates are plentiful.

Relaxing atmosphere, good service, wonderful tasting food and plating. Updated chairs with windows around to enjoy the park view. Even with the servers being split in between the bar and dining area we were served timely and well. Never having to ask for refills with exceptionally tasty food. My girlfriend ordered one of their burgers and got made at me for finishing the leftovers later on. 😂

We were walking by and decided to stop in to eat. We were not staying at the hotel. Service was friendly and fast. We went when there were only 3 tables taken. Staff was standing around so we were pretty well taken care of. The food was good. My burger was extra done (no pink at all) which I wasn't expecting but it was still good. Fries were decent. Price was a little high for what we got but I was expecting it to be high. 3 people it was Ca$118 and all we had to drink was water. Probably won't go back here if we are in town again but it was good enough for what we needed at the time.
