We had a great Saturday night dinner with traditional Québécois fare. The owner Guy welcomed us and got us a table on a busy night. The service was very good and the atmosphere is fun — definitely a locals place and comfortable but not fancy. We had the table D’hote which included excellent gourganes (bean) soup that hit the spot after a long day biking on the Veloroute; walleye (dore’) or tourtiere (pork pie, which is a bit like pulled pork with hash browns). And: warm homey blueberry pie to finish. The fajitas were good as well and a generous quantity. House chips as an appetizer have a fun sauce. And Belle Guelle (excellent blond beer) on draft!
