Thoroughly did not enjoy the eggplant dish - it felt very simple yet tasteless. The fish was excellent, however. Our waiter was very sweet and kind, but the host (short older guy) was obnoxious and got really close to my face for no reason as soon as I walked in (so much so I could feel and smell his breath on my face). It felt invasive to me and was honestly bizarre.

Plein Sud is a lovely little place that looks and feels like it should be in France—in a good way. It’s a quiet, comfortable, warm space. The service is friendly and charming without being familiar. The food is simple, ample, genuine and very good. If I were to open a restaurant, I’d like it to be just like this. Go. You’ll love it.

Very friendly staff, came to check on us a few times, recommend plates for three and made us taste wines to make sure we enjoyed our meal at its best. 200% recommend!

This spot is fantastic for a cozy meal! 🍽️ Their cocktails are excellent, especially the Calvi on the Rocks—a must-try! 🍹 The fish was incredibly succulent, and while the steak was a bit dry on the edges, the center was delicious. 😋
