I like the iced latte and carrot cake
Reviews / Ratings for Le Petit Dep|Café-Épicerie Fine|St-Paul
This place isn’t just a café it also feels like an incredibly aesthetic boutique market. Every detail inside is very well thought out: the décor, product placement, and overall atmosphere are truly “Instagram-worthy,” yet still very warm and inviting. What I liked most is that even though it’s small, it has a lot of character. Sitting down for a coffee, looking around, and discovering little things is really enjoyable. It’s especially a perfect stop for a break while exploring Old Montréal.
Le Petit Dep has that easy charm you don’t really expect- you walk in for something small and somehow end up lingering a bit. It’s a compact space, a little tucked away, with a cozy, thoughtfully put-together feel. Kind of like a corner store, but elevated. The shelves are a mix of familiar snacks and more interesting finds, so you naturally slow down and look around instead of just grabbing and going. The coffee’s reliable, and the pastries are fresh and straightforward- nothing overly fancy, just done right. It’s the kind of place where even a quick stop feels like a small upgrade to your day. What I liked most is the overall vibe. It’s relaxed, a little quirky, and feels genuine rather than curated for the sake of it. Easy to drop into, whether you need a quick coffee or just feel like picking up something a bit different.
They don’t allow laptops!! My human rights were violated and won’t be returning ever
I work as a delivery guy and i was getting 2 boxes for them from a chocolate store Had to drive 45 min to arrive to them getting them the order soo that they can do their job But when i arrived i asked to use the bathroom and the employee told me i can't use it even though i was going to order something after i finish I never faced something like this in Canada before were the employee can't use a bathroom And i wish no one will face something like this My review is based on the service and the atmosphere it's not based on the food because i didn't try it Wish they'll improve their service!
Adorable setting, friendly service and a delicious menu! Will be back whenever I come to Montreal
Super nice staff! And we got… 1) Coffee latte. My wife loved it. You could taste the quality. 2) London Fog. Best London fog we’ve ever had. 3) Cold Foam Raspberry Matcha. Incredible. Never had anything like it. Highly recommend!
Coffee was solid, very good place for souvenirs. Music was pretty shite. Pretty vibes and cute tho.
What a cozy place. Delicious cookies and pastries, as well as the coffee. A great variety of local products and souvenirs. The staff were very kind and thoughtful.
Nothing is priced!!! Out of all the beautiful made in Quebec specialties items ( just what I was looking for) not one was priced. The girl suggested I just bring it to the cash she will let me know how much it costs but that was not going to work as I wanted to know the cost of everything! Coffee was excellent unfortunately bought nothing, did not have the energy to keep inquiring!
very bad service and dirty place ~~ crew is so rude not recommend at all:((
Very nice little cute cafe ☕️ Definitely you should try 🍒
Great cute place
The girl with the black hair is very rude. Know your place
Lots of gluten free & vegan options! Such a cozy and cute café!
The barista took our order and told us go take our seats so we assumed we would either be brought our coffee or told when it was ready. After 20 minutes we discovered she had made our coffee and left it on the counter without informing us and had started doing other tasks. The place also had mice which caused us to leave early.
They had so many cute jellycats and mice! I was truly well surrounded😍
Loved how beautiful and wholesome the place was!!
Great as usual!! 👌🏻👌🏻
Got the raspberry matcha and strawberry latte and they were vile. Had to throw them out, what a waste of 20$.
They have a beautiful atmosphere and something of a corner store vibe but with gift style options and pre-packaged food and drink. They have gluten and lactose free baked goods, I had a giant chocolate and nut cookie with their Americano which is delicious.
Super cute cafe with high-quality souvenirs! Pastries and coffee were delicious and I also got some postcards to mail home.
It was a stunning place to visit. This is the rare place to visit its appearances is precious and light. I had a great experience because this place doesn’t accept computers. They apologized, recommended another place, refunded my items, and even gave me the pastry for free. Really kind. Enjoy your visit.
Cozy spot to stop for a drink and a snack. The iced matcha wasn’t very well made which is a shame. The coffee is good though.
