We usually go to this restaurant but this time the chef/service was terrible. My wife ordered filet mignon. Most expensive thing on the menu...they burned it, when we sent it back the kitchen put us last in serving order they served the other 5 tables before redoing a simple steak. When I went to the kitchen to complain the chef looked me straight in the face and told me they were very busy....it was 530 pm and there were only 5 other tables. It took more than 20 minutes to get a medium rare steak. When we said it was too late we had a show to go to...they started apologizing told us they wouldn't charge us for the meal...which is very generous given my wife didn't get her meal. It was our anniversary and my lovely wife had a beat salad and mashed potatoes. Then they said the owner was shocked at this but wasn't there so he would call us to apologize the next day. Its 2 days later. So it's obvious that actually feeding their customers isnt really a priority. I would run the other way if your choosing a French bistro, try le pois pencher, l'impressionist (about 30 minute drive but worth it) or if you actually want to get what you ordered...there is a McDonald's close by. Fyi if there was a 0 rating this experience would have merited it.

The salmon was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. After a long afternoon walking around Old Montreal, this warm and elegant dinner was exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was charming, the service was kind despite the language barrier, and the whole experience made my evening truly memorable.

This lovely French restaurant is perfect for celebrating special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. The wine list is superb, the wait staff is attentive without being intrusive, and the food is executed beautifully. I ordered the liver, which was cooked to perfection, while my dining companions enjoyed the risotto and mussels—both equally delicious. Be sure not to skip the appetizers; the brie with pear and the salmon mille-feuille were absolutely decadent. A special thank you to the hostess who graciously opened the private dining room for us despite the restaurant being overbooked. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return for our next celebration.

We reserved the Snow Crab event and we were very satisfied. We enjoyed the oysters as an appetizer, and truly loved the crab and crispy fries. All around great food quality, service and wine recommendation. Excellent all around!

The mousse de foie de volaille was exquisite. We had also the chèvre chaud which was excellent, so were the oysters. The moelle in the bone had too much bread crumbs. The bavette & salmon tartare were delicious.

We returned to Le Moliere for lunch this time. It was a quiet and relaxed experience. We enjoyed ourselves. We ordered from the table d’hôte and it was delish! service was quick. Due to it being a quiet time of day we were served by 2 waiters and the bus boy. I would definitely recommend.
