changed everything accept the name not for the better. The tempura on the chicken and the plum mayo were highlights of the Karage chicken both are gone now. The decor is like sitting in a bomb shelter or cave.

Hello Juliette nice try but you must have us mixed up with another restaurant because we still have the Karaage chicken with plum powder and homemade mayo . If you think sitting next to windows looking outside a cave well what can we say ?!😬

Oh Taiwan means quality ! We tried the very well seasoned curry, fried chicken, mayo dips , braised pork, and omelette rice - all yummy! Nice portion and presentation. Will be back! And very good staff with personal kindness 😊 appreciated the great experience!

They've moved! But they've taken their amazing, affordable food with them! We always have a great time here. Food is great, and our waiter was very friendly! He was saying theyre expanding to one more lounge-y place, and one smaller bistro (which is the one open now) Looking forward to their next phase! But still a great pick even in their transition.

Made reservations for 9 people for dinner for a birthday in their new location. Had a bit of everything on the menu and loved all of it - big fans of the baos, the chicken karage, the udon, and the beef. The vibe was warm. We had a great time and commented many times on how it was a great spot to go before going out on a weekend. The service was lovely. I called beforehand to ask about accommodating a person with a severe gluten allergy and the owner worked out a dish with us ahead of time (fried rice with beef, no soy sauce, clean pan) and was there to confirm while we were eating. Can't wait to come back for cocktails and karaoke when the new section opens 🎤❤️

The food was meeh... and the service is decent. I guess the employes prefer to talk instead of working. At least, it look they put a lot of effort on the food presentation.

This is one of THE BEST Taiwanese-Asian fusion restaurants in Montreal - hands down! Everything is BOMB especially their bao buns, calamari, truffle fries and their karaage chicken. Their food is sooo fresh and genuinely to die for!

Great food for cheap! I took a karaage bao expecting it to be small but it was generously big. The chicken was super crunchy, but I do think the spicy mayo overpowered the rest of the flavours of the bao a bit (chicken, veggies, etc). Service was really quick and friendly (we were a group of 6 a Wednesday evening at their new location). It was a bit cold inside. Seatings are diverse: high chairs and low chairs. Despite the restaurant being small, you still had enough space to be comfortable. There’s space to hang your clothes too so you don’t have to keep your big coats with you at the table. I also recommend ordering the takoyakis; out of many takoyakis I ate at other places, the ones at MajesThé are def one of the best. They’re big and well toasted. If you’re a group of 5+, reservation is recommended as the restaurant (well at least, for their location as of January 7 2026) is quite small.
