Dumplings were great, especially the fried ones. Noodle soup was disappointing, I found the soup very greasy and noodles overcooked. Definitely hand made though, so bonus points for that. Washrooms are apart of the broader “mall” and hella sketchy

We decided to step out of our usual routine and try Le Lotus Bleu for the first time, looking to experience something new. On the positive side, the restaurant is incredibly spacious, which gives you plenty of room, and the pricing is very reasonable. I was also pleasantly surprised by how fast the food was served to our table. As for the meal itself, the dishes were decent and looked appetizing, but they ultimately fell a bit flat for me—they just lacked the depth of flavor and seasoning I was hoping for. ​However, the biggest drawback of the visit was an unmistakable, foul smell of urine lingering in the air. No matter how quick the service or how fair the prices are, an odor like that really distracts from the meal and makes the overall dining experience not great. It has potential based on the quick kitchen and good prices, but that atmospheric issue really needs to be addressed.

The food was average and nothing particularly special. The service was slow, and we had to wait quite a while for our dishes. The tables were also placed too close together, making the dining area feel cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was just okay.

Friend’ recommandation. So I ordered intestines noodles without coriander, tastes clean. It is hard to clean intestines at home. Don’t expect much around the environment, exactly come and eat then go.

The food is delicious, but the service is lacking and it's not a clean place. We had the beef noodle soup (10/10), assorted dumplings (9/10), and potato salad (3/10). After waiting 20 minutes I had to call someone over to order. They gave us 2 napkins for my family of 4, and no plates/bowls.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about four years, usually when I’m working downtown, and I’ve always had a positive experience. I’ve even recommended this place to many people in my circle because the person who normally serves me is always so kind, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, this time my experience was very disappointing. I was given the menu and then left waiting for quite some time. When I thought they were finally going to come and take my order, the staff went outside to smoke instead, leaving me waiting. What upset me the most is that I couldn’t help but feel that I was being judged or treated differently because I was wearing dirty work clothes. I was coming straight from work, and although I may not have looked my best, I was still a loyal customer who has been coming here for four years. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but after being such a loyal customer and recommending this restaurant to others for years, I honestly expected to be treated with the same kindness and respect as always. This experience really made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I loved the dishes I ordered. They were so fun. I got half portions of the seaweed noodle salad, potato salad, cucumber salad and an order of the crystal noodles. The textures and flavours were luxurious

Very poor service. The owner was unwilling to provide each of us with an individual small plate, and the attitude was very disappointing. Even worse, the noodles we ordered tasted sour and seemed to have gone bad. Overall, it was a terrible dining experience. We definitely won’t be coming back.

This place has excellent delicious soup, hand pulled noodles, dumplings and wontons. Don't waste your time lining up next door. I recommend the lamb soup noodles with the house chili sauce.

Fell in love with the Le Lotus Bleu during our summer 2023 visit and we've been meaning to go back! They've made several changes in the past few years, including bringing the noodle chefs to the front and staying open on Tuesdays. The hand pulled noodles here are so good. My partner and I got the small bowls (braised beef and lamb noodle soups), but the portions are HUGE. Highly recommend going for noodle style 6 (thickest, more chewy) or 4. We also got the pork and cabbage dumplings, which are super juicy. This meal was very filling; we could've done without the dumplings, but they're too good to pass up. Service was ok since only one person was handling most FOH procedures. Atmosphere was also fine. It was just really warm, even with the multiple fans running (open doors, no AC), but it was to be expected with the pots of noodles cooking in the front. Went to Le Lotus Bleu for dinner last night, waited about 15 mins to be seated then got the menus instantly but then 45 minutes and still had no come get our order and even waved a waitress down and she said be right over and nodded but still nothing, so we left absolutely disappointed by that
