I would like to preface this review by stating that for me to take the time to leave a 1 star rating, it requires an ASTONISHINGLY poor quality of food or terrible value; “Le Grand Manitou” manages to check both boxes. The pizza slice and cheeseburger are arguably the worst I have ever had in my adult life, while simultaneously commanding a higher price point than any restaurant without a Michelin rating. The pizza slice was served lukewarm-cold, and has likely been sitting in a warmer for hours. For context, I purchased my food at peak lunch hour (12:45pm). The thin layer of cheese tasted gross and the slimy pepperoni underneath was just as bad. The burger was overcooked to the point that the bite feel was akin to sun-aged shoe leather. This is impressive, because it is nearly impossible to dry out beef this fatty, salty, and processed. I own a food business, so I fully understand how difficult it is these days to provide a good product at a reasonable price. That being said, this feels like a pure scam operation and the food is barely fit to feed to my dogs. Mont Tremblant, please do better. This experience felt like I was being rinsed completely. I was at the top of Whistler a week ago, and for the same price (still crazy expensive) it was at least half decent food. Summary: Horrible food, value non existent, RUN SCREAMING.
