Absolutely one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten at. It is a bangladesi restaurant not indian. This place pretends to serve Indian food, but what they actually put on the table is a complete disaster. The “veg biryani” was nothing but dry, tasteless yellow rice — no flavor, no aroma, nothing even remotely close to real biryani. It’s honestly embarrassing they even call it that. The paneer veg jalfrezi was a joke. Tiny portion, ridiculously overpriced, and nowhere near enough for a single person — not even a kid. Then they have the audacity to tell you to order one main per person, clearly just trying to squeeze more money out of you. Everything about this place screams low effort and high pricing. You’re paying premium prices for food that feels cheap, rushed, and completely lacking in quality. Service? Just as bad. Zero care, zero hospitality. One server in particular looked completely uninterested and made the whole experience even worse. And that 4 rating? Don’t fall for it. It’s completely misleading. Look at the detailed reviews and you’ll see what’s really going on. Save your money, save your time, and avoid this place at all costs. There are way better options out there. This place is a complete rip-off.

⛔️⛔️IT IS A Bangladeshi RESTAURANT ⛔️⛔️ Its not an Indian restaurant This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant presents itself as serving authentic Indian food, but the reality is completely different. The food lacked authenticity and flavor to the point where it was genuinely disappointing. We ordered a veg biryani and were served what was basically plain yellow rice with no depth, no aroma, and nothing close to what biryani should be. The paneer veg jalfrezi portion was shockingly small — not even enough for a child, let alone an adult. On top of that, we were told to order one main dish per person, which felt like a push to increase the bill rather than provide a good experience. The pricing is extremely high for what you get. You pay premium prices for food that feels cheap, poorly prepared, and rushed. Service didn’t help either. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any care. One particular server came across as uninterested and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience worse. Don’t be misled by the high rating. Take a closer look at detailed reviews — especially from people who are familiar with Indian cuisine — and you’ll see a very different story. Overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and not worth your time or money. There are far better options out there.
“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!”
Wow food is very tasty and delicious
The wait is worth it. Very very good food. Especially the panoramic are very crispy and the Sabzi is very good also. The vegetarian options are also very good.")))
I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service felt inattentive and unwelcoming. We waited far too long just to place our order, and it seemed like the staff avoided eye contact whenever we tried to get their attention. The food itself was underwhelming. The butter chicken was overly sweet and lacked the rich, balanced spices you’d expect. The biryani was dry and barely warm, with very little flavor. Even the naan came out cold and slightly tough, as if it had been sitting out for a while. For a place that advertises authentic Indian cuisine, the dishes felt rushed and poorly prepared. On top of that, the restaurant didn’t feel particularly clean. The tables were sticky, and the floor around our table had crumbs from previous guests. Overall, it was not worth the price, and I definitely won’t be returning
Came all the way from INDIA and doesn’t even taste indian with extremly high price you can go to any other restaurant and have good food must be better than this
Food quality was bad. Never going back here. No customer service. When i did called to confirm about order they said they don’t care whatever i am saying as a customer
Excellent service ☺️
We ordered food in night time food was tasteless we ordered chicken tikka taste like tossed in red powder without salt , kadhi paneer taste like mixed veg , chicken curry taste like water , little bit of turmeric and chicken that’s it not the authentic Indian flavour, also server forgot to give us sweet when we ordered food that was only thing was better , when we call Restaurant they said we didn’t mention what food should be like. I think it should be restaurant duty but never mind he said i am sorry chef made the food according to white people. Well people will appreciate more when you give the real authentic food ..
We called at 8:50 around and was 5 mins away, make a call to see if there is any available table, we were told they will take the order but minimum per person is $25, I mean!!!! One of the dumbest restaurant policy and owner I have ever seen. Luckily I didn’t go and checked other reviews, more surprisingly owner’s replies to them, seriously brain faded, you have to have some basic decency and customer service, I would advise the owner to visit other Indian restaurant for example Masakali in Montreal.
I was in Old Quebec for work and called this restaurant to book a table for two. The person who answered (who sounded like the owner) said a table was available only on the condition that each person must order at least one main course, around $25 per person. I have dined at many fine-dining and even Michelin-starred restaurants, and I have never been forced to commit to specific orders just to make a reservation. This felt extremely unprofessional and pushy, almost like the customer was being pressured rather than welcomed. Because of this attitude, I immediately decided not to go. Afterward, I read other reviews and was shocked to see many people reporting the exact same experience, so this is clearly a pattern. Restaurants—especially those in tourist areas like Old Quebec—do not have the right to treat customers this way. Hospitality means respect, not forcing people to spend money before they even sit down. Would not recommend.
The place looks beautiful Nice paratha. The food portions are kinda small though
The Biriyani rice is really tasty.
Very nice place! The food was amazing and the boss is such a kind person who offered very good service! 100% would recommend it
Came here from Rochester, NY and they were very accommodating for vegan diets with the Vegetable Biriyani. Just ask for no ghee! I don't speak French and they were very helpful with helping me understand the menu.
Awesome vegan food! I get the veg biriyani, but ask for it without ghee to make it vegan
We had good authentic indian food. We had a combo for two with samosas, shrimp and veggie curry and butter chicken with garlic naan. We also had the lamb briyani. The atmosphere was good with some good songs.
Good food combo, very filling :)
