A very cute cafe that makes you feel like you are at someone's house. I loved the attention to details and the fact that it is very kids friendly. Sadly the coffee and food aren't as great as the vibes.

From two travellers who took a chance on a friendly neighbourhood cafe it did not disappoint! Brunch was incredible. Recommend the Croque Madame sur Croissant. Coffee was delish and the atmosphere was fantastic. Sit in or sit out. Come for brunch or grab and go!

Every detail was well thought out. Delicious fresh food, children’s play area, outdoor seating, No plastic waste! You will love the vibe.

This is my favourite cafe in the city. It is a true community space - everyone is welcome, the food is great, the staff are awesome and coffee is excellent! They also have community events like 17:00-19:00 and a run club which is super cool!

Tucked in a quiet corner of the Bronx, Le Café Magda offers a beautiful and welcoming space with tasty coffee and delicious food. Nestled in a matrix of big food and coffee chains in Lasalle, Le Café Magda really builds the small community around them. And as a Bronx resident, I think we need more small businesses like them. Food is good but instead of the advertised $16, I was charged $20 for the smoked salmon bagel. With a coffee and tip it was almost $32

Hi Sadiah, After double checking with our staff and files today, you were indeed charged 20$+tx for the smoked salmon brunch plates that also comes with our home made wedge potatoes. It is the right price with the right meal that you paied for, good news :) During week days, we offer the smoke salmon itself without the potatoes and it’s 16$+tx. You can sleep on your two ears since you paied for exactly what we serve on brunch days (week ends) Unfortunately you must have seen the week menu somewhere and we are very sorry it caused a little bite of confusion! Hundreds of comments below tend to be thankful for a great, fresh, organic, local and home made very reasonable priced menu. We hope you can experience that and consider revisiting us :) Thanks a lot and we hope to see you again 🫶

LOVE this little gem!! 😍 These are some of the MOST incredible pastries I've ever had AND they are VEGAN!! I'm extremely picky with my croissants and this was the top 2 croissant I've ever had! I've also never liked chocolatines, but this was the first time I not only liked it, but LOVED it! I can't wait to come here for brunch and lunch too. You need to try this place, whether you're vegan or not. You won't be disappointed!

We always stop here for a coffee or tea after walking around the neighbourhood. The service is warm, the place has a really cozy vibe, and the drinks are delicious! Edit: we went for breakfast after I wrote this review and the food is also top notch!!!

Absolute favorite place to grab a weekend brunch. Montreal has some great cafes, but Magda holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it's because I live (and worked) nearby, and we have limited options for places with such warmth and charm. Maybe it's because I know how cool the owner and their family are and how they contribute in strengthening the community and making LaSalle a more vibrant place to live. Or maybe I'm just blown away everytime I eat here, the bursting flavors in every dish never failing to impress my taste buds. Bravo à l'équipe du Café Magda et merci d'être là!
