Craving for a foie gras last night, and this place delivers. Wanted to have a quiet anniversary date night with montreal city view. From the reservation, the host, to the waiters, to the sommelier, all excellent. Cheers chef, the menu tasting, the desserts, and drinks delivers excellently. Will definitely be back on my next trip!

While the food itself was flavourful, unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff came across as rude, unfriendly, and entitled. We were never greeted warmly or even wished a good evening, which made us feel unwelcome from the start. Throughout the meal, the service lacked hospitality and left us feeling like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The food was delicious, but the portion sizes were shockingly small for the price. The octopus consisted of one very small tentacle hidden beneath rice crisps. The risotto portion was tiny, and the beef filet—priced at nearly $60—was served as just two small pieces of beef with a couple of mushrooms over mashed potatoes. While the quality and flavours were excellent, the value simply wasn't there. The most disappointing part of the evening was paying the bill. A staff member stood over me the entire time while I completed the payment, watching me closely and giving what felt like judgmental, unpleasant expressions. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable end to the meal. There are too many restaurants that offer both exceptional food and genuine hospitality for us to return. Sadly, despite the delicious flavours, the poor service and lack of value overshadowed the entire experience.

The steak and cheesy mashed were scrumptious. The only disappointment was when I ordered a small side salad and they brought a huge salad which I sent back or I would not have room for my main course. So they brought back 1/4 of that salad but still had the nerve to charge me $15. Also the waiter had very strong BO- very unappetizing for a hungry patron.

I always look so forward to dining at Le Boulevardier restaurant anytime I visit Montreal. I was traveling to Montreal with my cousin and I had raved about the food and service here. We went last night. The service started strong and the food was great. We ordered the 5 course meal. The first 3 courses came at a nice pace. The 4th course took half hour to arrive and the final course-dessert was another half hour. By this time our drinks were empty and no one came by to ask if we would like anything else. We finished dessert, which was lovely. We still did not have anyone come by our table after the dessert was delivered. We sat there for atleast another 20-30 minutes before I finally had to go to the bar and ask for our bill after explaining that we had not seen anyone for atleast 30 minutes. Another 10-15 minutes passed and our server finally showed up.( I must mention that the restaurant was not busy this evening either) He gave us our bills with no acknowledgement of these delays. Very disappointing after raving about this place. Time to pursue other restaurants while in Montreal unfortunately.

Went there on a whim with a friend to celebrate the end of the semester. I was the only one who got the 7 course meal with the wine pairing. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was perfect. Absolutely enjoyed the wine knowledge of the sommelier and the general courtesy of the staff. You cannot go wrong here. Will be back soon!

Amazing food. Amazing ambience. Went for weekday lunch, so I had the plat d’hote. Service was impeccable. Quite busy, so highly recommend a reservation. It’s more business friendly, but they still try to be accommodating. Obviously French is the main language here, but they will happily serve you in the other official language if you need it. They are professionals, across the whole team

We had been to this restaurant last year and had an absolute fantastic meal.And fantastic service experience.The servers were very well polished and made recommendations for wine that were spot on and with good value.Unfortunately, it was not the case this time. Even though we got similar food items compared to last year.The sizes were much much smaller. In fact, we left the restaurant quite hungry.The stakes are steak was half the size of last year. The lobster resulted was also 50% smaller.The octopus came with hardly half of one tentacle for the entire dish.In addition the somilier was quite aggressive. Suggesting wines to us in the 2 to 300 dollar range to start out with. In fact, his selections were subpar.Compared to last year.We spent over $1100, without tip, and all of us genuinely felt hungry.And kind of ripped off.It's too bad, but we had considered the space, a hidden gem in montreal.Not really a reason to return to this place After the experience, we just had

Went for dinner with a group of 6 on Saturday and everything was fabulous. Cocktails, seafood platter, apps, mains and desserts were all absolutely delicious! They accommodated a food allergy with ease.One suggestion I would make… would have loved to see a salad (of any kind) on the menu.Service was impeccable!

First time at Le Boulevardier, and I ordered the filet Rossini with the aligot replaced by vegetables. The presentation and overall quality of the food were excellent. However, the portion size was quite small, and the dish didn’t fully justify its CAD 58 price tag — I expected a bit more meat for that price. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely, and the waitstaff were attentive and responsive.

An incredible experience at Le Boulevardier! Everything was exceptional from start to finish — the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. A huge thank you to Bruno, Tom, and all of the amazing servers and chefs who made the evening so special. Our guests had an amazing time kicking off their F1 weekend, and the entire team truly went above and beyond. Can’t wait to come back!
