We spent a truly marvelous time during our afternoon visit. The food plates were quite satisfying, and everyone we met was exceedingly polite. The team was exceptionally welcoming. On the whole, it was a wonderful encounter that combined good standards with very modest expenses.
Reviews / Ratings for LE BOSPHORE
Very good place for grillade and service is friendly. Food excellent!
Very disappointing experience overall at Le Bosphore. From the moment we arrived for our reservation, the restaurant felt extremely disorganized. There was barely any staff available to greet or seat us, and multiple (6/8) chairs at our table had bread crumbs, water, or sticky wine stains on them. We ended up cleaning and swapping chairs ourselves because no staff was around to help. Unfortunately, the cleanliness issues continued throughout the evening. Several utensils still had visible food residue on them, and the menus were heavily grease-stained to the point where wiping one down left orange residue on the napkin. After spending quite a while choosing our meals, we were only then informed that there was no more lamb available, forcing literally everyone at the table to completely change their orders. This could easily have been communicated beforehand. The service was extremely slow and chaotic overall. Complimentary appetizers were appreciated, and some items were decent, but one sauce tasted questionable. When the main dishes arrived, they came out one by one over a 10–15 minute span instead of together. At one point, servers were visibly wandering around trying to figure out which table ordered which plates, and we had to wave them down three separate times ourselves (3 dishes). The food itself was also underwhelming. I also asked three separate times for an accompaniment that never arrived. Basic service was lacking throughout the evening as well. For a table of eight, we initially received only two medium-sized water bottles and had to ask for more water ourselves. Servers do not check on table if everything is fine - even if they are friendly, yet lost. We originally planned on staying for dessert, but after the overall experience and extremely long service times, we decided to leave instead, skipping the included tea, etc. I cannot fathom the fact this restaurant has over 3 stars. The restaurant has potential aesthetically, but the cleanliness, organization, service, and food quality all need major improvement.
We came to Le Bosphore for Brunch on Mother’s Day since we heard good comments about their dinner menu. The service was so slow and inattentive. When we were sat, the table was still dirty and when she cleaned it (probably with a dirty rag) the table smelled mildew. They then set the table but we were missing utensils and some of them were dirty. When we finally ordered and received our food a little while later, we got served cold-ish eggs that were supposed to be sunny side up but looked and tasted like plastic since they were way over cooked. We barely got any fruits when other tables got served a decent amount for the number of people present. We had to ask for bread and water and the bread was burnt. When we asked for new bread, the server said it would take a while and that we should start with the burnt bread first. I will never come here again. I think it’s sad to offer such a service when there aren’t many Arab/Turkish restaurants in Montreal that we can support.
Food too salty I was not able to eat it also staff was not good
I had a wonderful experience at LE BOSPHORE. The service was absolutely excellent, and the staff made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. A special thanks to Soukaina for providing such outstanding service very friendly, attentive, and professional. It truly made the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a pleasant dining experience. Definitely deserving of 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I read the reviews and decided to try this restaurant. The service was very poor. We were three people but were given only one cup. The forks were dirty, even that one cup was dirty! They served the salad and soup after the main dish. The portion sizes compared to the price were not worth it. I will not go back and do not recommend it at all.
Was amazing!!
Paid 57.47$ this! We are 2 adults. The eggs was disgusting! And the rest of what they gave is decoration lol. We didn't eat we paid and left and ate somewhere else! Please avoid this place so you dont get disappointed. The owners and chef are not even turkish.
We drove in from Brossard to try Bosphorus Istanbul Kebab in Montreal, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. I went with my wife and her cousin who was visiting from Ottawa, and all three of us were genuinely impressed from start to finish. The service stood out right away, the young lady 💐who took care of us went above and beyond, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We started with spring rolls, a Caesar salad, soujouk cheese pie, and fries , and honestly, the appetizers were to die for. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And the hot bread… wow 🤩 warm, soft, and unforgettable. For the main course, we had the Adana Ali Nazik, and it was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and truly authentic Turkish cuisine at its best. We finished with kunefe, and it was the perfect ending — rich, warm, and absolutely delicious. We were looking for a nice place to take my wife’s cousin, and this turned out to be a jackpot. It was absolutely worth the drive, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.
It was sooooooooo goodddd
The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the Bosphore platter, bulgur, and kunefe were all absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The presentation of the dishes was also very nice, which made the experience even better. However, the service really needs improvement. The waiter seemed uninterested and inattentive. Even during busy hours, this level of service is not acceptable — there should be at least 2 or 3 staff members, as it clearly felt understaffed. They forgot to bring my drink and did not remove it from the bill; we only noticed this after we got home. Small details like this make a big difference. In addition, the communication was not professional — the waiter came across as rude, not welcoming, and did not seem to know how to properly التعامل with customers. We also had to wait longer than expected for basic service, and it was difficult to get attention when we needed something. A simple smile or a polite attitude would have changed the whole experience.Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the service unfortunately did not match that quality. With better staff training and organization, this place could be excellent.
Excellent experience
Very poor expérience. Bad service, the only Turkish thing about this restaurant are the pictures on the wall. Even the tea was served cold. The empty plates of food were not removed until we left the place. No one answered the phone. The special announced on line was no longer existing once we got to the place. Highly NOT recommended.
I dont understand why some reviewers rate this restaurant as 1 star. The food is decent, even improved compared to when I went there this Summer. The service is also fine. The waitress was very busy, but doing her best to keep all customers happy.

Dirty tables Very poor service Long waiting time Didn't like the food
Food was good but that’s about it, walked in to a bunch of dirty tables and having to wait 20 mins to get seated. Service was bad, had to keep asking multiple times for things like cutlery and missing food from our order and kept having to wait after waiting 45 mins for our food. The 2 for $45 was a joke, hardly enough for one person! Don’t waste your time so many better places!
We tried this restaurant yesterday and found it was a laughable experience in terms of service! 3 tables decided to up and leave in front of us due to their poor experience and extra wait times in receiving their food! it turns out there was legit no service to speak of! the servers had no idea of what they were doing looking around holding plates in front of the doorway not sure on which tables they belonged. my family received their plate and had time to eat almost all of it while i had to remind servers i never received my order. The 3 rd time i mentionned i was still waiting on my plate i was brought an empty plate lol!? i was like : im waiting on my order? then finally my order came. We asked 3 times to get bread (we never ended up getting it) Never once brought water! I suspect all good reviews are fake beware! they are a scam ( asking for cash payment not to pay taxes) the food was ok (small servings and missing sides depicted in the menu and images) The owner is extremely questionable from my analysis/experience! 0/10 for service and restaurant experience / 4/10 for the food.
THE GOOD: The Food - The food was pretty good, albeit a bit expensive for what you get. We got the platter for 4 and the chicken wings it came with, in particular, were very nicely seasoned. THE OKAY: The Atmosphere - The atmosphere is good enough that you could take a date there. Nothing you would seek out, but not bad. THE BAD: The Wait - We waited over 2 hours for our food, and watched a few other tables opt to leave after waiting for well over an hour. When the food finally ended up coming they still never brought out the side of bread it was supposed to come with or any of the sides we ordered. The Service - To say the service was bad wouldn't be entirely true; it was simply nonexistent. We ordered right after we sat down and asked also asked for some water to start. After 45 minutes we had to go find the server to ask her to bring over some water. At no point during our over two hour wait did she come over to the table to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. When we asked her about the wait for the food she told us "It's not my fault, the kitchen is just taking a long time. It's Valentine's day so obviously waits are going to be long." By a wide margin Le Bosphore gets awarded the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.
We saw this place on a Facebook reel and booked a reservation for five people for Valentine's Day. The food arrived two hours after we ordered it and was cold. We ordered the platter for four and our bread and fries never arrived. Our server said that the delay was due to the kitchen but we weren't even served water until almost an hour in. The restaurant wasn't even that busy and we saw a couple walk out because they'd been waiting so long for their food which never came. The food quality was average, certainly not worth the wait. Would never recommend this restaurant.
Very bad experience
Very good place, good service, i will come back
I'd definitely recommend this place for brunch, every thing was great especially the service.
