I'm writing this review hoping things may have changed in the two months since my visit, because the potential here is enormous. The atmosphere is genuinely beautiful—intimate, cozy, and perfectly in keeping with the region. Unfortunately, the food did not match the setting. My duck and my partner's lamb arrived tasting unmistakably reheated, as if they'd been microwaved rather than properly finished. Even the vegetables had that sad, reheated quality. It was heartbreaking because we were so excited. Since you know your bookings in advance, I'd strongly suggest either preparing for fresh cooking or simplifying the menu to focus on dishes you can execute well. A gorgeous space deserves food that matches.
