I made a reservation for the restaurant for a group of 10 - all were from out of town as part of a national tournament. I received a confirmation of the reservation made via a link on the restaurant website. How embarrassing for me to show up with my group and have a sign on the door saying NOT OPEN. Do better.

We booked a reservation for lunch here at 1:30 as it was in between events at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. We arrived at 1:25, only to find our accessible table was given away. I give credit to the fast thinking host, who quickly put two tables together in the front entry area, to allow us to sit down. After that, however, we were kind of forgotten. My friend had to get up herself and get us menus. We had no cutlery and were not offered any water. The waiter/host finally came back and took our order. It was VERY slow before the food finally came and we were all pretty hungry! The food was decent, but the Greek salad was completely missing dressing and my friend’s meal size Caesar salad was small (more like an appetizer size). My other friend’s tartare was good. I had a small burger and fries, which was good. Overall, very disappointing!

Our server set a welcoming and upbeat tone immediately. Marie was delightful host for our quick dinner. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions were very generous. It was great to be able to have a healthy meal to fuel during our busy weekend of spectating.
