Our dinner at Lawrence was outstanding. The restaurant is perfectly sized to feel special and intimate without being cramped. All the staff we interacted with were so kind and knowledgeable. Our primary server recommended an excellent alcohol-free sparkling wine that suited the meal perfectly. We were blown away by every single dish. We have had tasting menus all over the world and it’s very rare to come across one where every single course is a hit. One of the guests in our party had some dietary restrictions that the chef and team accommodated very well. We will absolutely be back and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for being the highlight of our stay in Montreal

Admittedly a long time favourite of mine since their Sparrow beginnings. Their wine list spectacular and full of surprises and will not disappoint regardless of the price point. I don’t understand how they didn’t get a star or a bib gourmand and I’ve been to a fair few around the world whose cuisine I consider less impressive in comparison.

Lawrence food experience is a 9 course tasting menu with an additional 2 side courses with a total duration of over 3 hours was a sublime experience. The dessert was a French toast and sheep milk yogurt that was fantastic, the palette cleanser was an apple along with a radicchio sorbet which was absolutely delicious. The lamb, squid ink pasta and mussel curry, courses were the highlight of the whole menu. The service was absolutely fabulous and the drink menu was exhaustive. We opted for the milk washed calvados, manhattan and a non alcoholic sparking tea and they were really good.
