We came up from Vermont to visit Montreal and thought we'd give this place a try with zero expectations. My wife and I both lived in the south for years and I've eaten BBQ in many places in Texas, so we can be a bit snobby. All I can say is WOW! This is bar none the best I've had. I couldn't believe that there were anything less than 5 star reviews, but after reading some of the lower ratings, those folks were not looking for what an actual BBQ joint offers, amazing meats. Everything else is a bonus. This place delivers! Show up early for a bigger selection, show up late for bonus portions! We will definitely be back!

Best BBQ I’ve ever had - we had the beef brisket, chicken and pulled pork with mac & cheese, coleslaw and smoked beans. This is the best meal we’ve had during our trip to Montreal and already looking forward to visiting again. The service, experience and price point is unbeatable.

This is easily one of the hidden gems in Old Montreal! Can't recommend it enough for delicious BBQ. The food is clearly made with love and the old school way, service is excellent and everything is very reasonably priced. My wife and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything served. The brisket, smoked beans and Mac n cheese was the best we've ever had! We will be visiting here everytime we come to Montreal

As soon as the pilot says we can use our phones, I text Gianni and asks him to save me a Beef Rib. Not many BBQ spots north of Texas can do a beef rib as good as this guy… of course I’ll have the brisket, the pulled pork and the ribs too and then roll home, very happy.

Meat is of a good quality. We had brisket, beef rib and pulled pork. What I didn't find in comment section that is important: if you come as a group you have to order 1 option of meats and sides for everyone. You cannot order your choice of meats or sides. Even though each of you is paying separately, the choice gets limited to only one. So make sure that you share tastes with everyone in the room otherwise you're stuck with the majority.

Great place to go if you are looking for a great dish of brisket, ribs, smoked chicken. The cocktails were really good too. This was our first visit but this restaurant has been included in our list of favorites ones. John the owner is a very kind, sweet and passionate of his work. Thanks John and your team for a beautiful dinner and evening 😀.

I really wanted to love this place, heard so much about it, it was so hyped, it's a local resto but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations at all. Very disappointing taste compared to reviews. The only positive was the service, waitresses were friendly, polite and competent.

Amazing find in Montreal. Visiting from Scotland & England and can’t find anywhere as tasty as this was in the UK! Food had so much flavour and taste with lots of options to choose from… we had to try everything! Would highly recommend and definitely favourited to come back next time we’re in Montreal!

My friend and I were looking for Bbq and stumbled across this place on google maps. The service we got was impeccable and the food was just as good as it looks! We got the sharing plate with 3 meats and 3 sides. All the sides (mac and cheese, coleslaw, and beans) were flavourful and all of the meats (smoked chicken, beef rib, brisket) were tender and moist. I’d love to come back to try the other meats next time! The atmosphere was cozy as well and we were sat by the window.

Let me tell a little story. About 3 weeks prior to visiting Lattuca, I was in Dallas, and had some great BBQ while down in sunny Texas. When a co worker said we were going to Quebec, and he booked reservations at "An amazing" BBQ place, I was confused. Quebec and BBQ didn't go together in my mind. But, oh how wrong I was. Latucca may very well be the BEST BBQ I have ever had, and I'd like to think I've had a lot, having lived in NC for 4 years. We ordered a group platter, each with our own set of sides, and those by themselves could have been a meal. The Slaw, with a vinaigrette base was amazing. Great Mac and Cheese, and the baked beans were as well. But that meat platter, holy crap. Pulled pork, pork ribs, and brisket. I have absolutely 0 critiques, and 0 complaints. John Lattuca may have to open a place in Seattle so I don't go broke flying to Quebec for dinner. Outstanding place. Thank you Pitmaster Latucca, and staff for the amazing experience.

The atmosphere was casual comfort. The brisket was absolutely the best I've ever had! The portion was huge and I had lovely leftovers the following day. The owner is kind, knowledgeable and clearly skilled as a pit master!

Great experience at Lattuca BBQ! The food was flavorful and well cooked, especially the meats. Portions were generous and the atmosphere was relaxed. Friendly service too definitely a place I’d come back to.
