Food is excellent. Service can be hit or miss. Martinis are great. Prices are a bit exaggerated depending the portions (which varied for the same dish over the years…) . And when service is not the best, prices might feel a bit high (service is included).

Unfortunately this restaurant has wasted potential. The food is not that great. Yes the prices are reasonable but you could get much better quality/taste for around the same price at Bouillon Albert.

I was excited to go here but left feeling very disappointed. The beef tartare was one of the worst I’ve had. It looked like dog food and the flavor wasn’t very good. I also felt some rudeness from the staff. I was alone and there was a seat at the bar but they made me wait anyway. Much better options nearby.

I had the scone with jam and clotted cream (I've always wanted to try clotted cream ever since I saw that lady on tiktok who reviews afternoon tea spots rave about it, and I figured a quick breakfast here would be the perfect chance!) The food was good! The scone was buttery, sweet, and flaky, and the clotted cream and jam paired well with it. I think 11$ for a single scone is rather on the pricey side though, but I do appreciate that service charge is included I'll have to come back sometime!

No tipping but the service clearly suffers because of it. Somehow our drinks were gotten wrong three times when there was only like 3 tables. Drinks were good but very high prices for the food considering the quality and portion size.

I would give Larry’s a 5 star review except I have to say that the staff seems to be a little lost when it comes to seats and food ordering. We were brought the wrong food twice. And another table got our food so we had to wait double. Other than that the staff is ok. The food to me was delicious. We had a portion of bread, cheese, some amazing Oysters and the presentation and taste of the Beef Carpaccio was outstanding. Highly recommend it but just breath and be patient.

Not your average place for breakfast. Gourmet meal and friendly service make Larry's a memorable choice. They presently dont offer cream with your coffee...it was explained to me that not enough folks request it....that may change perhaps in time...

Love Larry's! Great spot for breakfast, in particular. The famed breakfast sandwich is very good, as are the pikelets (english-style pancakes), but all the food is solid. Love the service and the ambiance as well.

All around everything was really good. We went on a Thursday a little after 11 and had no issues getting a table. The staff was very responsive and friendly. We ordered the scone and breakfast sandwich, both of which were delicious!

Absolutely delicious! Ordered the cheese sandwich (bread baked hours before and chunky sharp cheddar cheese), scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, and a crusty moist scone. Great vibe, lovely service, dog friendly--highly recommend!

Oysters are amazing here and all plates come in little portions. Vibe is cool, mix of old and modern. Make sure to try the ceviche, the asparagus and again the oysters.

A true gem of the neighborhood! Great wine list, awesome and fun menu with plenty of things to share with the table. Nduja and anchovy toast and the shrimp toast were just what the doctor ordered on a balmy summer evening. Last but certainly not least, the strawberry pavlova had the hands down best meringue I've ever been served at a restaurant; excellent crisp outside, perfect chewy center, and held up against piles of fresh strawberries and pillows of whipped cream. Service was excellent, and even though they had sold out of the bottle we were hoping for, they were able to substitute something that compared both flavor and price wise. Will definitely plan on being back here when back in MTL!

Food lacked flavor. Just a little bit more effort and it will be excellent. I had a ceviche & Negroni. My friends had hamburgers, oysters etc. everyone felt the same. good quality but lacked something...

Really delicious overall and a great spot for a midday snack or light lunch since the portions are on the smaller side. I had the ceviche and the kedgeree, and both were packed with flavor and really enjoyable. The dessert didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal for me, but the atmosphere was still nice and relaxed, making it a pleasant experience overall.
