The food was amazing! I couldn’t capture many photos, but I genuinely enjoyed every bit of the meal and the lovely ambience. If I had to mention one small preference, the chilli paneer could have been a little less saucy with less food colouring. The service was good too, with just a couple of minor hiccups here and there. But honestly, the food more than made up for it! Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly enjoyed it! With love -Chef Janardan 🫶

Terrific food! My fiancée and I travelled northern India, and having the Malai Kofta brought back good memories. Great portion for curries! Will come back to try out their gol gappe 😆

The very best Indian vegetarian food in Montreal. Hands down. Their Jalebi is to die for even though everything else is top notch as well. The service was also super fast and very friendly. Highly recommend

I’ve been craving chana bhatura for such a long time, and I finally got to try it at Lala Masala! 😍 And trust me, it was absolutely worth the wait. The food was so delicious and truly satisfied my cravings. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving authentic, flavourful food, I definitely recommend giving Lala Masala a try. Can’t wait to visit again! ❤️✨

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Everything we tried was really good, and we genuinely enjoyed the food.The taste, quality, and overall experience were excellent:)You can tell that a lot of care goes into preparing the food, and every dish we tried was delicious in its own way.!! The flavours were amazing, and we were happy with everything we ordered. It’s always a pleasure to find a place where you enjoy not just one dish but everything you try. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for good food and a satisfying dining experience. We’ll surely be coming back to try more items from the menu\. Highly recommended to anyone who loves delicious food ❤️

The food here is not falvorful at all . The chai is even worse. Mango shake was just sugar bomb. Even after asking them to make it less sugary it was loaded with artificial colors and flavors. The only good thing here was tha paranthas.

First time trying Lala Masala and what an experience! If you're vegetarian and love Indian food, this is your go-to place in Montreal. We've never had this level of fine dining from an Indian restaurant in this area. the ambience is beautiful and the food is on another level. We had the thali, momos, and their sweets, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole evening even better. Honestly, I'd give more than five stars if I could. Highly recommended — especially if you're around the area!

Had a wonderful dinner with guests visiting from India. The food was delicious, we loved the complimentary green chillies, and the fact that it’s a pure vegetarian restaurant made it even better. Great service and a lovely experience overall!

Lala Masala is a warm, and friendly positive energy vibe. The restaurant is 10/10. We were given 5 star service. It was our first time here and we really weren't sure what to try. Our waiter explained almost every dish . Spiciness levels, the type of bean and what I may recognize the flavor with having been to non vegetarian Indian restaurants before. Everything we had was delicious. Nicely presented and just tge right portion. We will most certainly return , and I highly recommend. Even for most eaters.

I have ordered Cholle Bhature twice till now. First time itself, I didn’t like the taste because of heavy dough and thin gravy. Yesterday was my second time and still the same thing. The gravy is literally full of oil and water with no taste and as well not a lot of channa itself. I’m not sure about other dishes but I won’t recommend this one. Not ordering it here anymore!

The Indian cuisine finesse was not present. A blend of Moyen Orient and Indian .... which is present even in the " Samosas and Pakoras " . Even the Uniqueness of the Induan Spices and Masalas are not present in the food served .

It was a random find but blew my mind away. Ill start by complimenting the staff for making recommendations as well as being very professional Next food as they clean was very good. Flavourful , right spices , exactly how authentic street food is. Steam momos with red spicy chutney (made in house) , Pav Bhaji and Noodle burger - all 5/5 Cold coffee was decent but the food made up for everything ! Worth coming back

Don’t get me wrong - 4 stars means the food was yummy, mostly. What wasn’t 5 stars was the service wasn’t great, it was meh. I guess this is a build your own plate type place. I liked my dishes okra but it was pretty rich with all the oil and void of any real freshness or flavor. The naan was a super star. The chai tea was also a star however far too hot. So hot the milk was scalded. I had to put cold water in to make it drinkable. Oh and the rice? I learned about it being build your own plate (rice not included) once I got my food. I didn’t want to wait another hour to get some rice so I made due. Go, lower your expectations so then you can be wowed, you’re welcome.
