As a self-proclaimed Food Inspector, I don’t hand out praise lightly. But La Table de Jo absolutely earned it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place takes authenticity seriously. The dishes were not only beautifully presented, but deeply flavorful—true Korean comfort food done with precision and care. Every bite felt intentional, balanced, and freshly made. What stood out most was the attention to detail—from the quality of ingredients to the execution of each dish. You can taste the difference when a kitchen genuinely respects its craft. The service elevated the experience even further. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like we were taken care of from start to finish without ever being rushed. We recently visited this spot in downtown Montreal and were seriously impressed. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food, this place is definitely worth trying. We ordered the Dalk Galbi with cheese, the Doenjang-jjigae (Korean soybean paste stew), beef bulgogi. The Dalk Galbi really stood out — the marinated chicken with melted cheese over rice hit our craving perfectly. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was also amazing — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Korean cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

Cozy atmosphere with hearty, delicious dishes — you can’t go wrong with any pick from the menu. The staff are very welcoming and considerate. The Village is lucky to have such a lovely spot for Korean food.

Not fantastic... My fiance got the chicken Katsu, and it really looked like frozen chicken strips you get from the grocery store... My japche was fine, but it was mostly noodles, and not a ton of meat. Though our server was friendly, and the atmosphere was very cool! Feels like a very instagram-y place. But it feels like their menu was an afterthought.

The staff were very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. We got the fried chicken it I was seasoned well and had a nice crisp! Highly recommend the tteoboki to share.

Celebrated my birthday with friends, and discovering that Momo and Nayeon from TWICE were dining at the same restaurant made the night even more fun. The staff also surprised me with a kroffle topped with ice cream, and it was super yummy. I’d definitely come back!

Came to eat here because of TWICE! Food was great! Really nice customer service; the lady was so attentive from the start. They even started playing TWICE songs when they noticed their customers were all TWICE fans haha so cute.

We are visitors from Winnipeg and came to Montreal to watch the TWICE concert. Before heading to the airport on our last day, we made sure to eat at Table de Jo, and we are so glad we did. This place is truly one of the gems of Montreal. We had such a fun and memorable experience. The girl who served us was amazing. She was very warm, approachable, and always smiling. Her energy made the whole dining experience even better and more welcoming. You can really feel the genuine hospitality. The food was also awesome. Everything we ordered was delicious and satisfying. It was the perfect way to end our Montreal trip before flying back home. Overall, we give this place 5 stars without hesitation. We would definitely come back the next time we visit Montreal!

Great location, delicious authentic Korean cuisine, I was particularly interested by the lunch special (daily from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm) which comes with 4 combos, all under 17$ and even includes miso soup as well! For dessert, you have to try the ice cream croffle!

We came here close to closing time, but the staff still welcomed us with amazing hospitality. The service was so kind and friendly, and the food was truly authentic honestly one of the most authentic Korean meals I’ve had in Montreal. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely recommend!
