We enjoyed dinner at this family owned restaurant for 2 nights in a row. So good the first night, we had to come back again! Not so simple to find from online searches but trust me, well worth it. Every item was great from the calamari appetizer to the table side Caesar to the duck 3-ways. We enjoyed the Portuguese menu the 1st night and some Classic French the 2nd night. Thank you to Anthony for his attention to detail for our crepe flambé for dessert! We will be back in May with our friends. Come for the food and stay for Anthony’s stories of old Montreal in its heyday! Petal and Doug

Very pleasant experience at La Sauvagine. Anthony was especially friendly and helpful — he really made the visit enjoyable. Would definitely come back! 😊

We enjoyed a nice Valentine's Day dinner here. It was relaxed and welcoming inside. The food was also good! I got the French Onion Soup and Peri Peri Chicken (which was great but spicy). My husband got the steak which was delicious.
