Great BYOW restaurant! Food is delicious. The sweet bread is well done (crispy on the outside) and a generous portion. Only thing I would suggest to add to the plate to make it a 5⭐️ is a little bit more vegetables or an extra touch of freshness like fresh herbs or sprouts.

La prunelle hosted my baby shower last weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredibly accommodating (thank you, Félix!), and the atmosphere was beautiful. The guests were so happy with the service and the delicious food. My only suggestion is to make the feta gnudi portion bigger, as it is quite small compared to the other options on the menu. Otherwise, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back for more delicious food! THANK YOU for making my day extra special!

Hidden gem in a nice location in the plateau. One of the few places you can find ris de veau.

Went to La Prunelle with my girlfriend and a friend. The atmosphere was amazing (10/10) and the waitress was kind, but we had a few waits at times. The food was mid and didn’t match the price—expected more for a higher-end spot. Overall, nice vibe, but overpriced for the quality.

Every time we are in Montreal we come to this place. Everything about it is wonderful, the ambiance, the food, the service. The lighting was magical, all of the courses were delicious, and the service was attentive without being too much. We will come back for sure!

Absolutely amazing experience. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday with a group of 10, and everything ran flawlessly. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere—not loud, not overwhelming. Service was impeccable. Erica, our waitress, was professional, attentive, and genuinely on point. The food—classic French cuisine—was delicious and refined. Overall, it was a magical evening, and my love’s birthday was a real success. She was happy, and so was I. Constructive notes (because perfection is suspicious): The octopus 😭 — unfortunately rubbery. We were told this was an exception and that it’s usually excellent. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The chairs could be more comfortable, especially for a place where guests tend to stay and enjoy the whole evening. Highly recommended. And one last thing: for this level of food and service, the bill was surprisingly reasonable—a very welcome bonus in these times.

Such a lovely evening we had the 4 of us. The menu was delicious for the 31st. Thank you once again
