Another amazing dinner at La Petite Primerose - this time with friends, celebrating two birthdays! We felt especially spoiled with customized menus and little treats sprinkled throughout our dinner. Loved the attention from our server, Viviane, and that Tristan took the time to explain what beverages would pair well with our foods and make special cocktails for us. And as usual, the food was spec-tac-u-lar. Lewis is the most talented chef we know, and what that man and his team can do with vegetables (and protein!) is beyond description. This is our favourite restaurant in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. We are so happy to be counted as regulars!!

We had dinner at La Petite Primerose last night and everything was beyond any expectations we had. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. All the little details the crew has put into this restaurant really made the experience special. Highly recommend visiting this fantastic place!

We went for a Valentine’s Day set menu and it was absolutely delicious. Every course was better than the last. I can’t wait to come back and taste more dishes.

I wish I had taken photos but I was too busy enjoying my meal. Fresh ingredients, impeccable service, staples we keep coming back for including the tarte au foie gras.

What a treat it was to eat at La Petite Primerose last night! We were warmly welcomed and promptly offered a choice of tables. The menu had a wide variety of dishes from which we chose the tuna with radicchio, pumpkin with house-made stracciatella cheese, oyster mushroom with beet puree and the sablefish. Their bread and cultured butter is irresistible, too. To finish we shared the apple and walnut dessert with a roasted vanilla bean ice cream. The fascinating array of high-quality ingredients were clearly sourced with a great deal of care. The service was the perfect mix of friendly and professional. I would happily return and look forward to seeing what they include on their menu as the seasons change.

We ordered the radicchio blue fin tuna which tough and had a strange taste unfortunately it was uneatible. We had also asked for 1 glass of wine on two occasions and we were charged for 2 glasses of wine both times. It was somewhat disappointing to have no reaction when we mentioned to the staff!
